This place fires the imagination. Your feel a 1000 years in each footstep and the deeper you go, the more timeless. You are overcome with towering emotions, you strip down, bath in the brook and march back towards your inexorable fate

I've seen many waterfalls, and this one isn't the most spectacular, but it is fairly accessible and you can see it from the top and from below. It's slippery if you want to have a shower underneath it, and it's cold most of the year but is great on a hot summer day. There's an abundance of diverse native vegetation, and the area is effectively weed-free (you'd need to know what you're looking for to find anything that doesn't below there, and even then, there's very little). There is some rare Pinkwood/Plumwood growing in the riparian rainforest before the falls drop over the escarpment, and there is some substantial rainforest below, through which access is ok, but not especially easy. I once saw a Diamond Python sunning itself on the boardwalk above the falls! Well worth a look if you're able to handle the stairs and some slippery areas.

A small quaint town is lucky to have such a wonderful resource at their fingertips. Great for a fitness walk or combination walk and picnic.

Loved the walk and the falls are very pretty - spotted an echidna in the wild which was a highlight.

The bush land, wild flowers along the way, and getting to the base of the falls. The path was quite rugged in places. I appreciated having my hiking boots. A great walk nonetheless.

After a 1.1 km walk that is quite steep in places, you come across this marvellous place. If you are not that fit, take your time and enjoy the surrounds. There are bbqs and a picnic area as you drive in.$7 park entry fee

Go all the way to the bottom of the falls but be very careful as it is slick. It's worth the effort!

This is a beautiful walk, through fantastic forest and with some nice sedimentary rock outcrops around, however there were a couple little hiccups to be aware of. Near the start of the path (probably less than 500 m from the car park) a fallen tree with a bees nest inside was lying across the firetrail path, with an accompanying swarm of bees that had to be negotiated to continue. Hopefully this will be cleared by rangers in the near future. We were also somewhat put off by finding over 30 leaches on our shoes, despite regular checks - the wet conditions have brought them out in numbers, so it's be a god idea to keep an eye of your ankles and wear boots and gaiters if you have them and it's still damp conditions. The walk had some great outlooks over the valley and quite a varied and a nice route. The walk took us around 2 hours, with many stops to take photographs (or remove leaches!). There's no park fee if you have a NSW National Parks annual pass.

This is a great walk through the bush descending into rainforest and ending in a great waterfall. Very tranquil setting to just sit and think. Round trip with thinking time is probably about 2 hours. This is probably a medium walk with some steep sections and a bit rocky at the end. It cost $7 entry into the park for the day.
