kangaroo boundary road reserve

A great family walk, with plenty of opportunities for close viewing and fabulous photography of wild kangaroos and other wildlife. The bush paths take you in a loop through the reserve, with views of the Mount Panarama and scents and sounds of the Australian bush. Mobs of kangaroos doze under gum trees in heat of the day, and watch you as you watch them, joeys close to their mothers side. The walk isn't strenuous and provides that glorious realisation, often lost in our urban lives, that we live in a remarkable country. Kangaroo Boundary Road Reserve is a safe reserve for our unique animals, and give us a look into their lives, for free, just a few minutes from the centre of Bathurst.
