Although no official open, the lady who was cleaning the house kindly gave us a tour. A fantastic bit of history, and well worth the time to go and see it. Fantastic items in the house and the gardens were well maintianed

This great little piece of local history is a must see for visitors. If the beautiful cottage gardens are not enough for you, the rooms inside the cottage, laid out as they would have been in the mining days, will certainly amaze. We have taken visitors to this little gem of a place on a few occasions. The best time of year to see the cottage is from September to end of October, as that's when the gardens are at their best.

A nice little trip to the Miners Cottages is a great way to see how houses were built and lived in back in the mining Era, My wifes family still has a miners cottage in Moonta and its a real treat to spend time there away from the hustle and bustle. certainly worth the while if traveling up to Moonta for a getaway

Loved this little cottage and found photos of my wife's relatives inside. It had furniture of the period and plenty of parking. What a bonus!

Due to restricted opening-hours we had to be content with looking at he outside and the gardens. We found this a constyant problem in the Copper towns; everything was only open at times when we were not going to be around!

i love the miners cottage. I always learn something new each time i go there. i love the little rooms and the garden out side. its all been keept in good condision and the ladies there that open it are very nice and give you a little tour!!
