Obvious time and effort put in to create a somewhat safe trail to the peak area. Once up there in the open high ground you get a fine view down on Skidegate inlet and Queen Charlotte all the way out to Sandspit and beyond into the Hecate Strait ! Also a view south and west to the other mountains in view. Good fresh air and a chance to get out of town for a few hours and back for a good dinner, etc!

Great hike, some tricky sections but worth it if the weather is cleAr. Make sure you pack a lunch or snack to enjoy at the tip of her nose. Beautiful. Many ages can complete this hike, not "easy" but not too difficult. Take your time and enjoy!

this is a very demanding 2h+ trail consisting in steep wet slopes in a dark forest. quite vertical, slippery, often tricky. however it can be done by an average person with lots of ambition. descending is almost as difficult as the climbing. the views at the top in a clear day are breathtaking. good hiking shoes are a must

This is a must do hike for all visitors on a sunny day. Not for the feint of heart or sedentary folk. Climb is very vertical, with some tricky spots. But my child climbed in sandals at age four, so the average person can do it. Approximate time is three hours round trip.

Really enjoyed the hike. Great views. Was hoping to see more wildlife, but only stumbled on a grouse.

Challenging hike but worth the effort if the weather is clear.

Moderately difficult. Not for small children or aged. Trail condition requires sturdy footwear. Rainwear is a must even if the weather looks good at the start. Layered clothing a good idea. Not for night time navigation.
