A great place to go back in time. However my 5 yr old son was unable to go in different areas because of having to climb what felt like miles worth of stairs to experience the three floors of the museum. The swinging bridge was amazing and the views were spectacular! The manakins on the top floor are creepy though.

Step back in time and see the early days of Renfrew. The basement level contains old farmstead items like an old Findlay cookstove, farm equipment, etc. The main level houses a vast assortment of photos, jewellery, furniture, an old organ, while upstairs showcases a very strange looking apparatus - an original hairdressing item - a "permanent" machine for giving women perms, lots of clothing and a room set up to resemble an old fashioned parlour (living room). Plenty to see, on beautiful grounds. Pack a picnic lunch!
