What a terrific course. The 9 holes are visually pleasing, and there is enough challenge to keep most golfers interested. The staff is helpful and accommodating. Really enjoyed our rounds of golf and would recommend the Blue Heron to anyone.

A very friendly 9 hole golf course and always in great condition. An easy course to walk with a good variety of holes. It is not a course if you are looking for 400 yard holes which is why it is a challenge without the long holes.Owners are very friendly and they have a nice indoor or outdoor balcony to see and have an after golf game drink. Very reasonably priced as well. And yes I did see a Blue Heron.

This gem is around the corner from our home, fortunately. We have only good things to say about this beautiful little course, and its congenial owners/hosts. Always a relaxed atmosphere, with home cooking and cold beer available after nine holes. The course is well cared for, and the golfers are, as well. Nothing fancy, nothing expensive, just a great place to spend a few hours out with nature.

I hate to write a review and publicize this place, because it is my go-to course to relax at. I have to drive an hour and twenty minutes to reach it from where I stay, and it is worth it. It is a friendly mom-and-pop operation, seemingly in the middle of nowhere, it is easy to miss, and yet it has a charm and atmosphere that I find amazing. The drive itself to it is a soothing drive through a bucolic countryside.It used to be a 9 hole executive-type course. It still is a 9 hole course. A good golfer needs his driver only twice, on the first and second holes. In spite of that, the holes are challenging, albeit some are very short. It makes up in design what it lacks in length. The signature hole is number 9 with an elevated tee box perched high atop a hill giving a great view, with a 220 yard drive to the tight green far below. The greens fees are reasonable. It is in terrific shape. The owners are very accommodating. This place is a gem with fantastic karma.
