borincano tours

My three friends and I learned about Borincano Tours from the San Juan International Hostel. Josue, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable on the history and current situation of Puerto Rico, and gave us a lot of insight into the island which we would not otherwise have gotten. He took us to El Yunque rainforest in a large and very clean van, and gave us a private tour of the forest. He showed us around a waterfall, a bath, and several trails. While touring, we learned about the various plants and animals of the forest. Josue was very friendly and funny, and he made our last day in Puerto Rico a very memorable one. He is a great tour guide and chill person to walk around Puerto Rico with!

While I was in Puerto Rico and stayed at Casa Libre (also on Trip Advisor). I was happy to find out that one of the owners, Josue was also a tour guide!We went on a trip to El Yunque rainforest and I got to stand under the waterfall! It was the one of the most beautiful places I've seen. Jose is VERY knowledgable about the history and landscape of Puerto Rico. I was very interested in the trees and flowers and he was able to identify them and give me some history on them as well. I also took a tour of Old San Juan. Again, Jose is very full of information about the history of the city and the buildings. I had an amazing trip and I can't wait to go back for more! Also rent a kayak at Casa Libre! It was so amazing to kayak in Naguabo Bay and go out to Monkey Island!
