The main attraction is that they have a huge water slide in the center and dive from its four swimming pools. The resort is a fresh water spring, so drinking the water is safe. They have cable car and a zipline as their new attraction. You can bring food or buy foods from their store. The place is very safe and secure. Overnight stay is also available.

We were in Valencia Bukidnon visiting my inlaws. They suggested we visit waig and said it was a wonderful place when they went there some time back . The kids were excited to get out and go on the water Slides. It was P 40 for the entrance and 850 for a hut . The water from the spring is the only thing thats nice. The pools, diving board, slides etc are all not maintained. The grounds as well are understaffed. It could be a wonderful place if everything was managed properly.

Our family vacation turned out to be terrible night the moment we entered Waig Spring Resort. We were on our way to Davao and we were finding a place to stay for the night since an evening drive to our destination is foggy and dangerous. We were in Maramag, Bukidnon and we were planning to spend the night at RR Resort. Sadly, it did not receive any guest because it will be closed on the following day, which is Good Friday. A man at resort suggested Waig Resort because he said that they are open for guests and it offers great accommodation. Waig Spring Resort was very far from the city and the road leading to it was very rocky. The place was quite nice and it had several swimming pools, a hanging bridge, zipline and a cable car. I find the resort a great place to spend a vacation not until we saw their rooms. The rooms which was supposed to be for 7 persons was REALLY small. There was one double deck bed and a single bed which occupies almost all of the space in the tiny room. We could barely move around the room to get our things. The worst part was that the faucet sink in the CR did not work and we have to get water from the other faucet (the one used for washing or taking a bath). Ants also filled the comfort room walls and lizard poo were all over the pillows and bedsheets. This terrible accommodation costs Php2100 for a 12-hour stay and I tell you this does not offer a great value for your money. At night, prepare for a battalion of blood-sucking mosquitoes and other insects especially if you want to chill outside. We had no choice but to return to our crappy room and try to survive the horrible night stay.

The cold, clean, overflowing water of the pools in Waig Resort is very refreshing! It comes from natural spring. There are 4 big, equally medium-sized pool surrounding the water slide. A short-cable car ride from the top (reception) towards the pool is available if you aren't fond of walking. The fee is affordable and worth it. The road towards this resort is quite rough and secluded but worth the travel when you finally arrived there. The resort is not crowded. We had the whole pool area to ourselves when we went there.
