minalahos island

We went there near the end of May and the sun and sea were just perfect for one last hurrah before the rainy season begins. The sea was calm and even at a deep portion of the sea, you can see the rocks, seaweed, fishes, and starfishes at the bottom...that's how clear the water was. Perfect for snorkeling. Upon reaching our destination, it didn't disappoint as the sand was so fine and warm, water was just the right temperature, and enough trees to stay under for those who don't really want to get baked under the sun. There are many other islands in Carmoan and we were fortunate to have been allowed to stay in one of the islands used by the Survivor series also and the other one which had a sand bar which was really gorgeous! Perfect scenery for nature lovers and those who love to take pictures.

Secluded beach where serenity will give its visitors the most! You'll find peace here by throwing yourself to this place!

An island with a tiny shore and big rock formations. It has the best view of the island opposite to it which looks so near. Had an imagination of myselft just plainly sitting on the shore, reading a book with a perfect view right in front of me. I could never forget that perfect view. Wish we couldve stayed longer but again the guide is rushing us to visit the other islands. I think its best to visit there when there when the sun's not too hot and you could spend a lot of time resting and enjoying the view.

Due to announced typhoon (Haiyan/Yolanda) we agreed to just pass by in this island for we intend to hit mainland as early as possible. Bikolanos (like me - grew up at bonbon,libon albay) has this phobia when it comes to typhoon (can't blame them). Magnificent island! I shall return and make sure to stay in this island for quite some time.Love Ko Caramoan!

Great white sand and good swimming in clean crystal clear water. Great photo background. Not a whole lot of shade though.

It's a place we should go while we can still lift that feet off to the boat.. While we still don't regularly go and see a doctor for physical pains. This caramoan island makes my heart and soul filled with so much emotion..There are more to see aside from this minalahos..There's actually 10 of them.. For the small island hopping.. They charge 1500php and the big island hopping it cost 2500php.. They give discount if you get to see all the island.. Manlawe was great ... We get there during high tide .. We didn't see the sandbar yet we didn't miss the fun swimming .. Pristine water ... the white sand was really gorgeous...

Minalahos was our last stop. It had the sight and sound of blackbirds singing in the trees overhead, little tunnels, caves and gigantic, mushroom rock formations that you can rest under. The beach near the shore was calm, with fine sand and clear seas. There was a thick presence of sea weed-like plants near the shore where abundant sea creatures lived.By 3pm, we called it a day.

It's a perfect place to visit..white sand beaches, limestone rock formation. Incredibly beautiful! There's nothing that i dislike about this place.
