作为嘉年华邮轮之旅的一部分,我与家人一起参观了罗丹岛。我知道,我的丈夫和我想在珊瑚礁那边做浮潜,但我的父母并不热衷于去浮潜,不过他们还是和我一起来了。我决定预订往返西湾海滩的交通设施,这样他们就可以在阳光下放松一下,而我在珊瑚礁那边见到了一些漂亮的鱼。这里是每个人理想的场所。我们订了往返旅行的交通设施,租赁了沙滩椅,并获得每人价值30元的进入俱乐部休息室的机会。由于我们一组中的四人是唯一在同一时间到达的,最终,他们给我们安排了自己的私人司机在旅途期间和我们呆在一起。海滩本身很美。沙子很软,是白色的,水是水晶蓝的,温暖而吸引人。我们带着自己的潜水装备,来之前还读了足够多的评论,才知道,我们可以在无需支付导游费用条件下,进入一个适合浮潜的好地方。我们走到了海滩的最左边(可以走到尽可能的远),并进入这里的水池。水相当浅,你要小心,不要触摸或撞击珊瑚,但那里有惊人的景象。我们看到了无数的鱼,有着多种的尺寸和颜色。水非常平静,没有导游,我们也从来没有觉得不安全。经过几轮浮潜,我们在阳光下与家庭的其他成员一起放松自己,并尝了尝一些当地的啤酒。正如许多人所指出的那样,沙滩上有很多的商家。你不得不对很多的商家说“不”,但是这还好并没有浪费我们的时间。

我这一生去过很多海滩,但从没有像洪都拉斯的罗阿坦岛的西湾海滩这样,让我欣赏到无限的美景,感觉很轻松舒适。我们乘坐的是嘉年华梦想号游轮出航,有权在这个港口停泊。我们没有预定嘉年华游轮上的昂贵的短途旅行,而是在港口租了一辆车和一个全程导游。我们沿着这里的主要“高速路”,穿过了植被繁茂的丛林,来到了西湾海滩。仅观光游览车道的风景就值得我们每人花的20美元。一到海滩,我们在一个度假口买了10美元的门票。它真的很值,门票包含了我们所用的椅子和遮阳伞。此外,酒吧的服务员调的一种叫做“猴子先生”的饮料真的很好喝!海水很舒适,几乎没有海浪。海滩的游人也不是很多。海水清澈,没有海洋生物!!!(我不喜欢周围都是鱼或是螃蟹!)就像在泳池中一样!海滩上是白色的沙子,还有些小贝壳。这个地方真是太棒了。我和我的朋友们正要计划再去那个海滩旅行。你可以租几个房间,一星期大约200-300美元。唯一不满意的一点就是海滩上老有人向你兜售太阳镜、贝壳和发辫,有时这些人会有点咄咄逼人。还好我们的导游和我们一直在一起,保证照顾好我们不被打扰。如果你是和朋友们一块去的话,要保证大家都去游泳的时候有人留下来看着随身带的东西。总之,这个地方应该列到各位的世界旅游观光榜单的前十位!我保证你绝对不会失望的。

我们在网上预订了香蕉女郎乐队胜地。史蒂夫来接我们,开了一辆迷你公交把我们带到香蕉女郎乐队胜地。下车换了短款的潜水衣,走到前面要了潜水设备。接着,把随身携带的东西放在了休息椅上(很安全),然后就出发离开了海滩。大概在海下两百码的地方潜水,简直太棒了。还了潜水设备后,我们在海滩上散步,喝了些酒庆祝这次旅行。天气不错,我们还滑了滑翔伞。在天空上可以看到岛上的一切。之后,史蒂夫开车把我们带回码头。

beach and reef was great, over all area was nice, however the expensive tax that Honduras puts on tourist is a big turn-off, felt like I was being exploited every time I purchased anything or engaged in a pay activity.

Just not another day at the beach. Across the street from all the restaurants, shops and bars it is so convenient to everything. Even during high season there was few people to crowd the beach.

West Bay is beautiful. The water and reef are spectacular. There are many great bars and restaurants all along the beach. On cruise ship days, mostly Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday the beach gets crowded during the day, and between all the vendors and all the crowds it isn't nearly as pleasant as the rest of the week. Even with the crowds, West Bay is one of the best beaches anywhere in the Caribbean. Go early in the morning and in the evening to watch the sunset

Many excellent restaurants all along the beach. With the reef right there the snorkeling is fabulous.

The whole West Bay is beautiful. Cristaline water, almost no waves, like a huge pool for you. GREAT snorkeling, we did it 3 times in front of Grand Roatan's beach. Snorkel + mask + fins for $10 with some people renting for the day.A lot of restaurants. Good pizza in Bananarama, nice lobster special at Beachers (3 tails for $18) and Foster's (2 tails for $15).

My wife and I are scuba divers, but we like to bring our two young boys on trips with us so they can soak up the island experiences with us and enjoy some time playing in the ocean that we love so much. West Bay Beach on the island of Roatan is one of the better beaches you'll find in the Caribbean. The sand is soft, and the water is quite calm due to the extensive protection from the coral reef just offshore. There aren't any big sharp rocks in the swimming area, all you'll find other than sand and water is the occasional floating piece of seaweed. For those that like to snorkel, there are plenty of good spots along the beach - just be sure to stay out of the busy boating channel areas which are marked. The beach is dotted with hotels, restaurants etc. so it's a great beach to take a stroll and go exploring! You'll also be able to find watersports activities like kayaks, parasailing, etc. readily available along the beach. We haven't had this problem AT ALL this March, but I have heard there can be sand fleas during the right seasons, but a good strong bug spray like Deep Woods Off or Cutter seems to do the trick in keeping them away from you.

West Bay beach...also called Tabiyana... Can easily be listed as one if the nicest beach in the Caribbean.Protected by the Island's reef leaves the shore to look and feel like an azure infinity pool

Most beautiful blue clear waters ever. Beautiful white beach with calm waters to do whatever watersports you want. Snorkeling was unbelievable! Granddaughters caught a huge starfish and had a great relaxing time. Great food right there as well. Locals were not pushy and in fact very friendly and helpful. Don't miss this exquisite beach!

Busy but beautiful beach. Beat sandcastle making sand ever, and I've had 50 years of experience! Impossible to avoid the masseuses and sunglass sellers, but they're not pushing or aggressive at all.
