The Federal Palace Hotel Pool is a really nice pool. It is a large pool, ideal for doing your laps. It gets busy sometimes during the weekend. It is an open air pool and is in gardens that overlook the Atlantic Ocean. Nice

The pool club is attached to the Federal Palace Hotel with free access for guests. To use the facility otherwise you will be required to take up membership ( 1, 3 or 12 months)The club backs onto the water front so its very fresh and airy. It is divided into a few sections (diner, shallow end where the main flume opens into, children's pool with more slides, mini golf, trampoline, climbing frame, games section, mini bar). The main pool has the feel of an Olympic sized pool. Water was clean with a comfortable temperature. Meals prepared in a hygienic environment. Bathroom and changing area was tidy and well maintained. The staff were friendly and very welcoming. My one reservation would be the risk of injury due to a few loose decking around the childrens pool area. I would also have been more comfortable with more than two lifeguards on duty on a busy day. You can imagin the potential accident waiting to happen if a long line of children all decide to come down the main slide at once. Overall it has a relaxed atmosphere and a good place to meet like minded individuals. My children were happy to be in that environment every day of our holiday spent in Lagos. Now, that to me says a lot!!!Small advice - take your sun screen creams and apply regularly as its possible to burn even if there is an overcast. In summary - Child friendly, clean, hygienic, expensive hence exclusive, best pool in Lagos. Highly recommended!!!!!
