jumbo's pumpkin patch

We have gone to Jumbo's every year for the past four years (thanks to the awesome Groupon deal) for the pick-your-own pumpkin and corn maze. Jumbo's is great: there is tons of parking in the field in front of the farm. When you walk up, you will be met with a giant barn that houses small knick-knacks and local jams and kettlecorn and crafts. There is also an area with farm animals you can pet - goats, pigs, sheet, and horses. They even offer horse rides for kids. There is a concession stand that sells something delicious call hot beef (don't let the name turn you away!). Jumbo's has a tractor that takes you out to the corn maze (if that's your destination) and you'll find the pumpkin patch at the end of the maze (for fun, this year they hid gold pained pumpkins in the patch and awarded a $20 pumpkin credit to those who found them - we weren't the lucky ones!). The corn maze is a doozy - the first year it took us almost an hour to get out; this year we whittled it down to 25 minutes.Overall, Jumbo's is awesome for families of all ages, friends, and couples. In my opinion, it's the best pumpkin patch in the area and I highly recommend it.

The farm has many things to offer families and couples who are seeking to pick your own off the vine pumpkins. It is not overly crowded so you will have a nice rural experience. There is a small shop with seasonal items that are very nice along with some baked goods and other food items such as jams and preserves. There are children's activities as well.
