Good putting green, good chipping area, and nice grass driving range give you a great warm up before your round... Very beautiful course and good for all types of players... Fun course to walk.. tips are for the pro's but whites and blues are great for most players. The forward senior and red tees make this course for everyone. The staff is nice and helpful and the lessons are offered by a few different pros.. The course is in good shape, pretty open, but stay out of the long rough. The greens can be tough but roll nice. The marshall's are fair and competent but need to instruct players to fix their divots and ball marks on the greens..

Blue Mash golf course has a certain personality that makes it challenging yet fun to play. Close to Washington DC it provides a nice alternative to the more expensive club courses dotting the area. A Major drawback: their starter(s). Club house personnel are uniformly professional, whereas the club starter that we have encountered on several occasions now, appears to be uniformly rude and totally impressed with himself. In one case he derided one of our players, who was diabetic, for not beeing ready for tee off as scheduled. In another case he ridiculed another player for unknown reasons. This starter is costing Blue Mash good will and $.

This is a nice course with a mix of challenging and short holes. The first few holes can be a but intimidating. Tge course is very well maintained. We were behind a very slow group last weekend. The marshalls were very helpful in asking the group to speed up their pace of play (as they were holding us and the rest of the groups behind us). At one point they were even asked to skip the 10th hole. A few holes later we caught up again. One thing we noticed is that the group in front of us was playing from inappropriate tees. People should really play from the correct tees for their handicap. Blue Mash has some good online rates - so check it out!

Blue Mash is located on the site of an old landfill. It's a pretty course, mainly open on the front nine and tree-lined on the back. The first four holes are quite challenging, and all the holes are fun.Blue Mash has one of the best practice areas around, with grass tees, a large chipping area with bunkers, and a large putting green. Practice balls are included with your round. While most folders ride, it is a very walkable course, and actually all the more beautiful when you take the time to see it.My only complaint is that it is a bit overpriced compared to other courses in the area, especially on weekends. But they do have some great Internet specials that are a great value.Be sure not to overreach when you select your tee box. The course plays harder than it looks.
