If you are anywhere near here this is worth stopping for. The house is a replica of the Yoder family house--built in the 1700's. It is an amazing structure and was constructed from materials donated or salvaged from old structures, e.g., the main support beam on the 1st floor is hand cut and runs the length of the house. There are period pieces throughout the house and the volunteers working there are friendly and knowledgeable. This was my 2nd visit and I am still awed by the craftsmanship. Well worth a visit.

If you like a little bit of history mixed in with your family fun, you have to stop here. This is a replica of the Yoder family house for hundreds of years ago. If you are lucky, like we were, you will have a real Yoder family member give you a tour. They have period pieces throughout the house. I was in awe of the workmanship and craftsmanship. Worth a visit.

Beautiful home, quite an experience.Took my family and they thought the place was awesome and they had a great time. The staff was so friendly and absolutely great with my 5 years old. They included her in some of their exhibit displays and they loved it

Been here 4 times. Never tire of it. Enjoy watching others enjoy it also. If you haven't been, you should go. It can be very educational.

What a neat house to visit. Its like looking back in time. Very unique house - lots of stone and brick work and interesting architecture. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
