I played Patriots Glenn a couple of times with my father in law and a friend. We all thought that they are doing a great job of bringing the course back. Looking forward to playing it in spring of 2015.

Played this course 2 weeks ago. The Staff & club Pro we're great!! But, the course itself still has a long way to go to recover from the past owners total disregard for course conditions. The new ownership is trying and hopefully will succeed in restoring this course to what it was years ago.

It's closed. Not taken care of and it is being sold. Used to be a very nice golf course but got really run down. It was always overpriced.

This golf course is in bad shape that's why they gave us a good discount. The primary ruff was so deep you couldn't find your ball. The greens had so much sand due to the air rating your ball never rolled straight. The gentleman who checked us in when we returned the cart said they got a new grounds keeper and were trying to put the course back into shape. They have a long way to go, but perhaps in a couple of years it will be a good course to play.

My husband and I booked the Patriot Glen Tavern for a party. We liked the location and that you could cater the event yourself (do not have to use their kitchen/food). We also liked that you rented by the hour ($75/hr plus an 18% gratuity for after party cleanup). You could use their soda/coffee/tea bar for a FEE or supply your own drinks. So that was a nice option too. We did have some difficulty in regards to communication with the events coordinator for the tavern prior to booking. She was slow to respond to emails & phone calls. But, we went ahead and secured the club for a Sunday afternoon since it met all our needs (location/self catering facility/view/atmosphere,etc). We were told we could come set up after 7am the morning of the party, with our party being 130pm-430pm (following a church ceremony at Noon). To be honest, I was a little concerned about arriving & the hall not being ready or reserved due to the communication issues. I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best. When we arrived around 9am on Sunday morning, we found the club still arranged like a restaurant/pub. The bartender on duty said she was NOT even aware that there was a party scheduled for that day. She told us there had been a party the night before, but that we could try to start setting up. She said she would try to contact the events coordinator. We were very upset to find the place a wreck. The floors were littered with food and candy wrappers from the party that was there the night before. The banquet tables & dining tables were filthy--food stuck to them. One of the tables was even broken. Immediately, we started to move the tables around to resemble the party atmosphere we desired. We also asked for some cleaning supplies to start cleaning the party space. We asked the bartender where the table linens were that we were promised...in addition to the dinnerware & flatware we were promised. We wanted to start setting up the tables with our centerpieces and favors & start setting up our candy bar. She said she did NOT know, but was still trying to reach the events coordinator. The bartender apologized for the disorganization & miscommunication. Around 10am, a few workers showed up that said they were sent by the events coordinator to help us. We were told that the events coordinator would arrive around 11am & we could speak with her then. However, we needed to leave by 11am to go get ready for the church ceremony at Noon. The two workers that were sent were VERY helpful. They helped finish moving the banquet tables and set up the room partition. They found us some white PAPER table cloths and some plastic plates to use for our banquet dinner. We left around 11:15am to go home to get changed and get ready for the church ceremony. At this point we still had not seen the events coordinator & our hall was not completely finished. The two workers assured us they would work to get us ALL the linens and supplies we needed for the party. When we arrived after the ceremony, we did find the hall to be party ready. They had vacuumed the hall and did help us put the finishing touches on our room as promised. The workers did get us some more PAPER & PLASTIC table cloths, some PLASTIC plates, PAPER cups and PLASTICware. They were nice enough to get us some pink cups and pink PLASTICware to match our theme too. We were under the impression that we were getting real LINENS and real SILVERware when we booked the club. However, we were just thankful that the workers were able to accomodate us and our theme in such short time! After a hectic start to the day & rushing around to get things in order, it was nice to walk into the room and see it looking SO PRETTY and party READY!To be truthful: we were a little unhappy with the hectic start to the day & having to spend so much of our precious time cleaning before we could even begin to set up. It would have been nice to arrive to a clean slate ready for our decorations. It would have been nice to walk into the hall & have them expecting us---aware that there was a party scheduled for the afternoon. It would have made our morning much less hectic and rushed. AS is, we ended up being LATE to our church ceremony due to us spending so much time cleaning at the club. We never did see or hear from the events coordinator the day of our party OR afterwards. We did pay our room rental fee in addition to the 18% gratuity for CLEAN UP after OUR party. This kind of stung since we had to CLEAN the hall before we could use it ourselves & we left it in much better shape than we had found it. However, at the end of the day, our party turned our GREAT! The hall did LOOK beautiful & our guests probably had no clue what the club had looked like when we arrived just a few short hours prior. In the end, we were happy with the hall as a banquet/party hall. We were grateful to the bartender and the 2 workers that helped us bring it all together in such a short amount of time. They really worked hard to make our event a success. THANK YOU!! All said and done...I would use this hall again in the future. Our party did turn our great & our guests had a good time. Plus we loved getting to cater our own event with homemade dishes & specialties. The hourly hall rental fee was reasonable. Next time I would probably call the bartender the night before & the morning after to make sure they were ready for us. I would arrive extra early anticipating clean-up before set up. I might bring my own linens, flatware or dinnerware IF I wanted something more special than the paper/plastic provided. But, I would book here again since our last party did end up being beautiful & a great success!

Meet your neighbors over a beer. Good sandwiches and friendly service. A fine 18-hole golf course makes this worth the drive.
