Must play at least once a year. A little pricey with normal rates being $90-$100 but if you can catch an off-season deal then you can get on for $40-$50. As a local I would love to have this as a weekly course if not for the expense. It is always in fantastic shape, just enough room for us 18 handicappers to not get frustrated and the staff and facilities are top notch.

Each hole is similar to a great golf hole somewhere in the world. For example, Amen Corner is simulated. Makes for a fun and challenging experience with other golfers. Club house is very good for lunch or cocktails after your rounds.

This unique layout features recreations of eighteen holes from famous golf courses from all over the USA and the globe (with copious disclaimers throughout). You will have a great time imagining you are teeing it up against Ben Hogan at Carnousite or Nickaus and Palmer at Augusta. With a few exceptions the holes are near-identical recreations. The staff should not be overlooked, though. They are courteous and professional. They even sent us out to the middle of the course to start our round, due to an outing that was running long. Thanks to that great idea, even though we started 15 minutes or so late, we finished in under four hours and before dark!

Such a nice place with unique course! In addition, you cannot beat the staff. Friendly, professional and attentive everytime. We love going to the dinners, the clubhouse and the cozy feel. The wine dinners and recent BBQ with wine pairings outside in the summer was so nice. Feels like you are away yet a few minutes from home. Great food, wine, golf - life is good at Renditions!

We do not play golf but we do like to try out different restaurants. The restaurant at Renditions is open to the public. We had received a coupon for their restaurant at a recent "Green Expo" and decided to take advantage of it before it expired. So, we took a friend and went there after church this past Sunday. We were given the royal treatment. The menu is limited with mostly soup, sandwiches and salads. The prices are very reasonable. All three of us had the Maryland crab soup. It was excellent-nice amount of crab and just the right seasoning. It would be worth the trip just for this soup. I and our friend had salads with added grilled chicken and white balsamic vinaigrette. She had a house salad and mine was spinach, strawberries and pecans. My husband had a fancy hamburger that included a fried egg. He had the choice of French fries, sweet potato fries or slaw. We cleaned our plates it was so good. We will definitely put the Renditions restaurant on our circuit of "after church restaurants."

Fantastic course made up of famous golf holes. Amen corner and 17th at Sawgrass amongst them but some pretty naff ones. Hey what about the postage stamp or the road hole? Put it on your bucket list!

My Buddy and I have had this on our list for a while and, when I received a GolfCaddy Deal, we jumped on it. Winter conditions applied and the weather, which started nice, turned on us but it was still a solid experience. The clubhouse is quite nice and the staff very friendly but the course is the real attraction. With each hole representing a famous hole from a Major hosting course, it's like a world tour wrapped up in one course. Amen Corner from Augusta is accurately represented down to the azaleas and roses (though we didn't get to see them in bloom) as well as the Island Green from Sawgrass. All in all, a worthwhile visit, even with the poor weather and hour drive each way.

I have played golf here and it is a great course, but that is not the point here. They do these wine dinners that are fantastic. We have been in to at least five of them. Every one is a different theme, International passport, Wild game, Coppola movies, to name a few. The coordinator is a former wedding planner, thus the events are extremely well done. The food always amazes, one of my favorite places to eat is a golf course? On those nights, yes! The staff is always super accommodating and pleasant. The value off the hook. A five course meal with wine pairings in this town (Washington DC) for $65? Get on the email list and they send you the menu and fate info automatically. If you are in this area a foodie and have an hour interest in wine, these events are a don't miss!!

Played Renditions today. The course was quite exciting. All of the holes are well designed ( copies of famous holes). A few of them replicate holes we see on TV ( Augusta,TPC Sawgrass), but most we don't see on TV like Oakmont,Carnoustie, etc....but they're all interesting.Course was in very good shape, staff was friendly. It's surrounded by woods, so it's quiet.Pace of play was slow, but one of the players in our foursome - a frequent player- said that slow play was very rare.

I played Renditions for the first time this past Monday. It is an interesting track and generally a fair test for the good to average golfer . However , the greens were in poor shape and had too much sand on them- it was like putting on the beach. After the round we had lunch in the grill room. All of the sandwiches were above average.

I have not had bad experience at Renditions. They had a brunch and after golf special that went with your golf. Course was in great shape, staff was very good as usual and food was great. Have been playing here for 6 or 7 years and enjoy it every time I visit here.

Interesting concept for a course that my girlfriend and I were looking forward to playing. We were paired with 2 other women and started off with a little trepidation after the starter told us the course was not 'women friendly'. We thought things were going well the first 3 holes. However, as we came to the 4th hole, a warning appeared on our GPS screen that we were 'behind 5 minutes'. 5 minutes. There was no one behind us and we were very aware we needed to keep our play moving quickly. At the next hole, another message appeared on the screen to let us know we were still 5 minutes behind and we needed to "hurry up or we'll send the course marshal". I've never been harassed by a GPS system before (especially over a 5 minute lag) and felt it was unnecessary. Next hole, the marshal showed up and was cordial to all of us while he watched us tee off. We offered to have the foursome behind us play through if we were holding them up. We still couldn't see the group, but obviously there were other golfers behind us. The marshal admitted we weren't holding anyone up, but he wanted us "to be closer to the foursome in front of us".So we weren't playing slow enough to hold other golfers up, but we continued to be harassed by the GPS the entire round. At the end of play, the round took us 4 hours and 45 minutes instead of four hours and 30 minutes. Big deal. We paid $90 per person, felt stressed and unnecessarily harassed most of the round. I will never play there again. I will never recommend the course to anyone else - male or female. There are so many other golf courses in the Mid-Atlantic region that provide a much more pleasurable golf experience.

I recently played the course for a company tournament and the facility was outstanding. This is a tough course and the par 3s are short and small greens. I encourage you to play the tees you are most comfortable with or you will be holding up play. The pro shop and grill are first class. This is a must play for the dc region. Make sure you enjoy amen corner.

The course itself is well worth going. The holes are interesting and challenging. The prices were a little steep at $100 a round. But the worst part of all was the 5 1/2 hours it took to play. This makes it so not worth playing. The marshall came out once after the 4th hole and it didn't help. Would not recommend going until they can straighten out their marshaling. It is not worth the money or the time. If they can straighten those issues, then we would definitely say go. This was on a Thursday teeing off at 11:30a finishing at 5p.

The course conditions are much better, 17 green is open, greens run smooth, still a 5 hour round, even on a weekday
