This ice cream is great they have plenty of flavors, very reasonable prices. Don't get a large you cannot possibly finish it. They make good sundaes that are very reasonable.. There is also the farm where you will see the cows, goats, the goats like to be feed and they have food available. Kids really love this spot.

I decided to give simcock farm another chance seeing its so close to my house. I had gone years ago but once the barn ice cream opened, I switched and made the drive 10 more minutes down the road. Well, they did not make a good second impression, that's for sure! First is the placement of their ice cream board, if you need to choose another flavor, you need to back up and walk out of line to go view it. Whoever thought of placing it there was not thinking about the customer. The wait was quick which maybe was a bad sign at 730 in the summer, I got to the window and asked the girl if she had a book with the ingredients in their ice cream seeing I have celiacs and can not have gluten etc. the girl looked at me like I had two heads, I knew this was not going to go well. There is a sign in their window that says please inform your server if you have an allergy......well, I'm not sure what informing your server will do if they have no clue what's in their product....maybe say so sorry then you can't have ice cream! I then got out of line to go reexamine the ice cream favors to try to determine what I could have without reading the ingredients. I got back in line and ordered what I believe to be safe. Before I left I asked the server the name of the brand of ice cream so that I could try to research further when I went home. Like I said earlier, I really want to like this place seeing its so close to my house and because they have animals that my little one will soon love. The server said, a company makes it for us.....clearly this is top secret information! I'm guessing no manager was on duty, because if there was it would have made sense to go get a manager to answer my questions. So, buyer beware, if you have an allergy, do not go to simcock farm. Keep driving down the road and go to the barn homemade ice cream. They have a book of their flavors with all their ingredients listed. They also have gluten free cones! Talk about customer friendly! Come on simcock farm, it's 2014.... Food allergies are not new!

Ice cream stand, great tasting ice cream, good variety of flavors, generous portions, and friendly helpful workers. There is also a few animals on the farm that you can feed, also the biggest cow I have ever seen. It's worth the ride if your in southeastern ma.
