I've been by Butternut Farm Golf Club many many times and golfed there for the first time in October. I am a beginner when it comes to golf but others in my party are more experienced. The clubhouse staff was friendly and attentive. The course itself was well laid out and very pretty. On one hole the men's tee required them to drive over a river to get to the green. There was only one section where two holes were extremely close together. We lost more balls than usual because of leaves on the ground and the angle of the sun. The course discounted their greens fee because of this and it obviously was outside their control. We enjoyed a beverage in the clubhouse afterward. It was a pleasant afternoon even though I didn't play my best.
