The ice cream is homemade and very good. The lines can be long. There are some amusements like go carts and batting cages to enjoy when you visit. The thing that really bugs me is the price. The items are overpriced - it's ice cream not fine dining.

Great ice cream, very generous portions, always a treat!I would call it a hidden jewel but it's always full when we go so that wouldn't be accurate. Nice outdoor seating is great on a hot summers day

Love the soft serve twists, hot fudge sundaes, and strawberry cheesecake the best! Hometown goodness. Don't go anywhere else. The go carts and batting cages are fun for the youngsters.

I have been to many ice cream stands in my lifetime, but Jay Gees is still the BEST around. I love their hot fudge sundae. The ice cream is awesome, whipped cream fresh and homemade, hot fudge is thick and plentiful...Everything about it is GREAT! :D

Go-carts, Mini Golf, Arcade, Batting cages, and All the Icecream.. What more do you need? Huge Huge Icecream Servings- hope you are hungry. Two go karts tracks; one quick laps on slick track, Kids think its fast, adults may not.. The other track is much longer and you get a few laps though only couple karts have the power to pass the rest, doesnt matter still fun.. Arcade makes your money disappear quick but the kids think its the tops, they win tickets to trade for Prizes. Mini Golf the entire family will love, family time. Batting cages for Fun or for practice.. Batter up. All in all the park is fun, busy, and Not hard to Blow a Hundred bucks on a couple kids in a hurry.

We purchased these tickets the size of business cards - gets kids one of everything and parents get to buy it all at a discount. Made for a very fun afternoon for a reasonable price. I do with they would be a little more allergy friendly, the staff wasn't able to give definitive information on whether the kiddos could eat here safely. I understand there are going to be nuts at the ice cream shop, but with so many kids having food allergies it would be nice if the management would find just one thing that they could ensure is a safe option for kids with nut allergy.

Mini golf on a Saturday was slow, but the course was okay. Standard and unoriginal holes. The batting cages were fine, and it was nice that the cage on the end was in some shade. However, be forewarned, the bathrooms are DISGUSTING. I literally held my breath the entire time I was in it. The arcade area was small and mostly filled with gambling type games (main purpose is to get tickets), and not as many two player games. Overall, we spent a lovely afternoon before a wedding. Jay Gees was everything we expected.

This is a great place to stop for an ice cream. They have many different flavors so the hard part is deciding which one. Old fashioned ice cream place. While you eat your ice cream, you can wander around the fun center.

Great for children and adults. The fun center has everything the kids enjoy and the ice cream stand is outstanding for both. The ice cream is home-made. There is a great selection of flavors. Parking, however, can sometimes be troublesome. It is located on a busy highway and it is hard to back in which would making leaving very easy. Best to park on the side if there's a space.

JayGee's is a fun place just to grab an ice cream cone or enjoy the many activities on the property. There are go-carts, batting cages, bumper cars, an arcade, and cute miniature golf course with water features. Regarding the ice cream there is frozen yogurt and sugar-free ice cream available also,

Came in second in our quest for the best hot fudge sundae with coffee ice cream. They have two locations, Lowell St. Methuen and Route 28 in Salem, NH.

There's nothing not to like about Jay-Gee's. The ice cream is delicious, the people behind the counter are friendly and helpful, and there's miniature golf and batting cages if you want something fun to do either before or after having ice cream. I'll gladly go again.

Was vey busy on a Sat afternoon. We all had fun. THe pin ball machines were in an AC room which was nice to get out of the heafrom.

Everyone that goes to JGs becomes a loyal customer. The taste of the ice cream is so rich. Its all made there. My son has had birthday parties out back with the go karts and mini golf. They had a great time.
