Dramatic spot at the end of Marblehead Neck. Magnificiant light house anchors the entire park. Lots of seating to enjoy views to the sea or into the hustle and bustle of boating in the harbor. A place to be quiet and to be thankful for a beautiful place like this.

This park and lighthouse is small but the view across the bay to Marblehead center is really pretty. If you are in Marblehead, it is worth taking in this view.

Beautiful views overlooking Marblehead harbor and several nearby islands. Our church holds Sunday services in the Chandler Hovey park during the summer. It can be somewhat distracting as many sailboats, motorboats and kayakers make their way past the area.Definitely a "must" visit location if you're in Marblehead in the summer.

Its a great place to visit and get out and walk around across the harbor is Fort Sewall. Childrens Island and many markers are right there in the harbor. Great for wedding photos and engagement pictures as well as sunrise and sunsets

The view was great. The lighthouse itself was nothing fancy. The ride to the park was great leading past Castle Rock and the many large homes. Worth the trip.

If you are in Marblehead during the sailing season, make sure to visit the lighthouse on the point at Chandler Hovey Park just after the workday ends (4-5 PM until sunset). We were there on an sunny and warm September Tuesday at 4:30 PM, and watched a couple of dozen sail boats sortie out of Marblehead Harbor and then race just off the lighthouse! There are some nice trails around the lighthouse, and plenty of benches and rocks for sitting. Watching the sailboats while the sun was setting was incredibly romantic and beautiful (please see photos). There are a few parking spots at the lighthouse. If you have another 15-20 minutes, follow the road back to the South side of Marblehead neck (10 minute walk) to Castle Rock; another great view of the seacoast and the Castle to the west.

Went on a crisp but sunny Fall day. If you are stressed over life, just come here, take a seat on any number of benches, and take in the sights or read a book. Plenty of parking as well. Oh, and there's a unique lighthouse on the grounds of the park!

A very differnent type of lighthouse. I thought it was very artistic. Worth a ride to see and walk around the beautiful park and see the ocean too.

The Hinman Cup Race was going on and it was fun watching the colorful sailboats doing their thing. Luckily we found a parking spot!!!

We were lucky enough to be able to watch the sailboats come in from the sailboat races on Sunday. Very nice park with restrooms and benches to sit and take in the view. Many people brought their own chairs for a day of relaxing.

Beautiful views with lots of benches to just sit & watch the boats & water. Lighthouse was very cool, wish it was open to climb to the top! Take a picnic lunch if you can!

We drove out to Chandler Hovey Park to see the Lighthouse up close. There is a monument with history of the light and a list of the lighthouse keepers. The views of the harbor and surrounding islands was beautiful.

For a serene vista overlooking Marblehead's spectacular harbor, don't miss Chandler Hovey Park and Marblehead Lighthouse. We saw four regattas underway from here with scores of small sailboats; what a view. The Good Humor Man even stopped by for a visit. A beautiful day. Also, across the harbor Crocker Park is a short walk from town and also has gorgeous harbor views. Dramatic rock outcroppings jut out over a bay filled with bobbing sailboats and the odd commercial rig. Benches and a shaded pavillion offer great spots to perch for a bit. So peaceful, just exactly the quintessential New England harbor scene.

We spent the day here in Marblehead walking around sightseeing and capped it off with a visit to the lighthouse which did not disappoint.
