Well maintained park, easy to park and nice walking paths. My dog loves it here. There is an entrance fee but seasons passes are available.

This is such a lovely park with appeal. There are 2 playgrounds for children, ball fields , a mini train, a small zoo...But the part that I love the best is walking around this beautiful park. It's a mile loop that is quiet and meditative.

This is a nice little park not far out of town. $5 entry fee but worth it if you plan to stay awhile. Probably good for kids since there are multiple activities for them. Or even a picnic. None of which we did but our hike was nice. Also, there's a 4-5 minute train ride you can take so that's kind of fun for kids too.

The drive up the mountain, winding road and very nice! The tower was high and affords an excellent view and great photo ops, too.It is windy and cooler at the top, also great view of the Ct. river!

There is a little bit of everything here, and most of it is either free or a nominal fee. You can picnic, pedal boat, see zoo animals and take a ride on a little train! The bumper boats were a huge disappointment though...it was just a small pool to float around in and not much fun :(

I would rate this park about a 4.5...it is a beautiful park with many different attractions for all ages. The prices of a couple of the attractions are a bit high, but we happened upon "half price Wednesdays" last time we visited, which was a treat. Love the paddle boats and the playground, which is nicely shaded next to the spray park. Train ride was ok, a little short. Beautiful scenery all around. If you plan to go frequently, buy a season pass as parking during the week is $5 and I believe it's $7 on weekends. Not bad since this is a privately maintained park. Decent food stand as well. Can't really comment on the picnic rentals.

I too have memories of swimming in the big Look Park pool which is no longer there. The water spray area, bumper boats, mini-golf, and beautiful grounds are great. Streams running through the park and benches are a plus. A minus is dearth of toilet facilities. Signs pointing to activities and picnic sites abound, but we never saw a sign for rest rooms. If there are any at the picnic areas we certainly didn't see them. We drove through the entire park and came to the Visitors Center. Even that wasn't marked with a rest room sign, although there was a single men's and a single women's room in the small building. They were very clean but could accommodate just one person and everyone else has to wait outside. If there are other bathroom facilities on the grounds, that is not indicated on any signs that we saw. The fee of $7 is fair for all that the park offers, but unfair for the rest room situation. DE

We live in the area and go here often, every weekend actually. It is so lovely and peaceful most times. Terrific views, great areas to picnic and lots to do. Give it a try!

We visited the park with our two year old grand-daughter so she could play in the Water Splash Park; it was her second visit this month. It was well worth the $7 parking fee just to see the joy on her face waiting to see which fountain would start next. She thoroughly enjoyed the park, as did all the other small and not-so-small children using the facility. Next it was the adventure playground then lunch in the snack bar. We didn't even get round to the train ride or feeding the ducks (are there any ducks?).A great place for a day out with the family. I'm sure my daughter and her girls will be using the facility many times this summer.

As a child in the 60's, I spent many years visiting Look Park. I have such good memories there. I spent a lot of time in the old swimming pool. I now visit with my grandson. Although it has changed, it is still a beautiful park and is a perfect place for families. There are many places to walk. The animals, trains, paddle boats are very enjoyable for the kids. It is a great place to spend the day.

It's a great place to take children at Christmas they have a train & more. The summer is not the only time that it's fun. Also on Easter they have an Easter Egg Hunt for children I believe under 12. Very cute Family oriented.

Gorgeous park! Lots of places to walk, picnic, they have a cafe/food stand and spray park in the summer. I like to find a tree to lay a blanket out under, relax and people watch

Stopped here after looking at their website and seeing how much there is to do. There is a small parking fee (i think $5)....mostly everything inside also has a fee, but nothing is expensive. The mini golf course needs some SERIOUS remodeling. It looks like it's about 25 years old and never had any upkeep. Weeds growing, very dull. Inside the park was nice, but i thought it had a 'dirty feel' to it. I think thats the fault of the patrons, NOT the park itself. People were having graduation parties, birthday parties, etc. I'm not sure if that is technically allowed there, but people were doing it. Those same people leave behind their trash, dirty diapers, etc. A shame. The place has potential, but they either need to hire more staff to clean up peoples mess, OR not allow parties like that to take place in a public park.

And it is economic. Parking is $5 on a week day. For $15, you get a wrist band for the kid for unlimited rides, including chocho train rides, bumper boats, peddle boats, a petting zoo, and a mini-golf. And they are pretty lax for companying adults not having to pay for the rides - most rides would need a young child having a companing adult.

Haven't been to park in many years until recently when we went for a group outing with family. Park is very clean and well run. $7.00 a car to enter and if you want to use cooking site/areas it cost additional. Enough to do to keep everyone happy for a few hours and we felt very safe letting the kids wander on their own.
