On 08-25-14, my extended family and I went for our yearly trip to Breezy's.There are very few attractions, in this day and age, that you can visit, have fun, and not break the bank. Breezy's is one of them. Parking is free, admission is reasonable. People who don't use the waterslides, are charged a lower admission than those who do. Admission gets you a nice shady picnic area, lake swimming area, concessions with very reasonable prices, a small arcade, and three waterslides. After using so many waterslides in her ten years, my tween loved the novelty of bathing with real fish, in a clean lake.Quality hot dogs, fried dough, and fries. Great food. The restroom was very clean, for the amount of traffic. The signs on the road to Breezy's are hard to find, a hidden gem, so it's a good idea to check your route beforehand....GPS, Maps, etc. If you need ketchup, next time I'll ask.See you next year Breezy's !

Just 25 minutes from Worcester this place is great. The grounds are well maintained, the 3 waterslides are fun, and even though we went on a hot August Sunday, the lines for the waterslides were manageable. The snack bar is cash only and the prices are reasonable. This was fantastic for our 5 year old and 3 year old. Heck, they even let you bring in your own food and a grille if need be. Parking is free. What more could ask for. We will be back.

There aren't many places to swim for free in MA so finding a nice, clean lake with ample parking, space for picnics and laying in the sun with your family is worth the cost... Almost. $10 per person (age 5+) on a weekday gets you into the area and access to the snackbar, arcade and restrooms. Mid-summer is crazy busy and on the day of my visit there were 100s of campers there - screaming and running around. It takes away from some of the peace of the place, so be warned. The lake is clean and refreshing and the breeze off the water keeps things cool regardless of the heat. The water slides cost extra and are packed with kids and it's best to bring friends so they can run from the pool back up to the top since that's all my boys care about. It's worth the trip but be prepared to pay.

Cute lakeside swimming hole. Breezy has 3 small, but fun and well maintained waterslides (into a waterslide pool, not into the lake). Very large picnic grounds and as a huge plus they allow portable gas or charcoal grills. Snack bar had decent food and prices. Didn't try the arcade, but it looked OK. The beach area is odd though.... instead of having a large open sandy beach area, there are 2 or 3 small sandy beach areas and the rest is grass (right up to the lake). Very clean facilities and grounds. However.... it is EXPENSIVE! $20.00 for anyone over 5 and $11.00 for kids 2-4! So for my family of 4, including an 8 and 4 year old, is $71!!!! (Next year when my youngest turns 5 it will cost us $80!!) Very unreasonable IMO!

We planned a family reunion here in June. Everyone wad pleasantly surprised with how perfect this place was. Rather than dealing with crowds and long lines for water slides this was the perfect spot. The lake was clean the slides were perfect for young kids and adults. The bathrooms were well taken care of and clean. Definitely will be going back!

Nice picnic grounds but lousy service, especially for the ridiculous prices! Website clearly says they take visa, but after paying $48 for admission for 3 people, we discover the snack bar is cash only! When I complained to the manager, he literally laughed in my face, told me snacks bars never take credit cards anywhere in the world, and pointed to a small sign at the gate (not even visible through the line of people coming in). Now packing up the kids and our gear to go find an ATM. I could get over the cash only thing but not the arrogant staff. There are plenty of places to swim in MA. Spend your money at a place that values it's customers.

We went to this place over the 4th of July Holiday as something new to try. I didn't think the price was too bad. $10 for adults and $7 for the kids. We chose not to use the slides. When we got there around noon, the place was full, which we expected. You park on someones lawn across the street and have to walk down to the pond. After paying, we walked down and sat near what looks like a tiny boat ramp. It is actually the only sand where the kids could play in and out of the water. Along the shore were picnic tables and lots of tree's for shade. The water was what you would expect from a pond and it had lots of sea weed. Or in this case pond weed? It wasn't too bad but some people were actually trying to collect it from around them and put it on the shore. I commented to one woman that she will be there forever trying to clear out the seaweed. She said she just felt she had to do it. OK then... The water was good. There were several life guards on duty and there was a marked off place to swim. Lots of kids and adults having fun in the water. It was a small area so if you don't like being close to people, it's probably not for you unless you want to swim out a ways to get away from other people. All in all it was good day.

It's a nice place and well maintain. It's very pricey for a family. Beach area is very small. You paid for a two year to swim and they can't even play in the sand because there is no room and the big kids take over.I wouldn't paid $7.00 for a two to four year old or even take them there again. It's for over six years old in my opinion

I booked with them during the summer for my son who turned 5 years old. One of the things that sealed the deal for me was that you can stay at the park from the time they open until you close (about 7 hours). Which gives you the most bang for your buck compare to other places that you pay for just one to two hours. The price was very reasonable considering the amount of time you actually can spend at the park. It was smaller than what you see on photos but very well maintained grounds. The slides where a great attraction for the kids. The only downfall for me was that you cannot move tables to accommodate your party, they do not allow face painting, clowns, music and are very specific on decorations. Other than that my guest and Son had a great 5th birthday party.

They keep the grounds nice and clean (there are cans around the grounds for people to use) and the water seems to be as clean as you can get it. I haven't used the slides, but the kids have and enjoyed their times there. I prefer the relaxation of just sitting near the water and hanging out while the kids swim in the lake. They have a food stand and an arcade if you don't want to bring your own picnic food. There are places with shade and out in the sun. It's not cheap but worth it for a nice day in the sun/sand/water if you don't want to have to travel all the way to the shore.

Visited in July with four boys (ages 15, 15, 12, 13). We arrived just after park opening and found a nice shady spot and set up our chairs next to one of the park's picnic tables. Glad we were there early, as the park filled quickly with other families and a large group of day camp kids. Boys were able to go about the park on their own and I could still keep track of them with ease. Waterslides are great fun and beach area and water is clean for swimming. Lifeguards plentiful and attentive. Bathrooms/changing rooms are clean. Snack bar is busy, but I thought fairly priced. We enjoyed our own picnic and then bought ice cream. This was our third year visiting and think we may be outgrowing the park simply due to the older boys ages.

What a great water park! So clean and safe for my whole family. There are 3 slides and a fabulous lake. Both sun and shade. Food was also good.

Brought two kids (10 and 17) for the afternoon. They enjoyed the water slides while I was able to sit in the shade and relax. The place is well-maintained with clean grounds and picnic tables. There is enough room at the beach that you don't feel crowded, and the water is clean and not too cold (which the kids really appreciate!). The parking is just across the street, so no long walks required. There is a snack bar, but it was an awfully long wait for 2 slices of pizza! The only other drawback - not to be taken lightly - is that the ink they use to stamp your hand at the park entrance can stain fabric. I tried washing it out of my shirt without success, and got a shrug from the staff when I brought it to their attention.

If you're looking for something different to do, consider heading out to Breezy Acres. This is a beautiful lakefront spot in Douglas, great for all ages. You can opt in to fill your days sliding down the waterslides and swimming in the lake, or you can skip the waterslides all together and just enjoy the beauty of the grassed areas. You have the option of either with a different fee for the activities. If you can't get there until later in the day - there is also another fee option for that. Everyone, including adults, can enjoy the 3 waterslides to choose from. I think of them as "old-fashioned" as they don't loop, have steep drops or require you to sit on a tube. A relatively easy hill to the top and you are ready to go! The current at the bottom is pretty strong, so take heed and make sure little ones, or those that are not good swimmers, have a life jacket on. There are life guards at the waterslides and manning the lakefront as well. The lake is pristine - with a sandy area for kids to dig in. The water is warm and inviting - a few rocks on the bottom, but mostly sandy. The grassy area has numerous picnic tables to enjoy, where you can enjoy your own packed lunches or go over to the snack bar to purchase food. There is also enough area to bring your own chairs to spread out and enjoy. Also, the changing areas and the rest rooms are kept clean and are spacious. The only thing to be aware of is that numerous camps do come to enjoy this spot as well. You may call ahead to see how busy it is on that particular day. Otherwise, I highly recommend checking out Breezy Acres!

We visited here with 4 children, ages 6 & under. We had a fantastic time! Lots of picnic tables and shady spots. We all loved the lake. There are lifeguards on duty; clean restrooms, and a yummy snack bar. We will definately go back!
