This is all that's left to see of the WWII training facility. A few bits of memorabilia from the era. They are obviously existing on a shoestring, supported by donations. We supported.

This is a great little museum related to a WWII Flight Training program located in Douglas, Georgia. The site is the actual location of the flight training school which operated during WWII. The buildings are original with several being restored and utilized. The museum has well thought out visually appealing displays. The grounds are as close as possible to original. The hanger, if open, is a special peak into the world of restoration with projects in process if you are fortunate enough to go when someone is working on a plane (a bonus). If you love history in general, WWII history, or aviation history you will find this little known stop well worth your time. There is no charge but a $3 donation is suggested. I did not take any pictures inside the museum.
