the saenger theatre

Like most of downtown Pine Bluff, the Saenger Theatre is in a seriously bad state of repair. Though there is a movement to restore the old movie theatre, there are also other projects in the town that have not received interest enough to restore them. The town exists in the depressed area of the Delta region and the populace has changed enough over the last 30 years to not care about the past of Pine Bluff. The theatre is nothing now but a shell and probably will soon be an empty lot if the current administration of the city has its way. It is not open to the public and is in fact losing some of its outside bricks. It is becoming unstable.

This place is pretty awesome but isn't currently open. There's a restoration project in full steam blazing ahead to renovate it,,, butNOTHING TO SEE RIGHT NOW>Sorry
