The Indian Falls trail is considered moderate, but as you get closer to the waterfalls, it gets a little treacherous. There was almost no water in the creek at this time, but the rock formations and gorge were awesome! The Indian Rock and Cave trail was somewhat steep, but doable, and well worth it to see the large overhangs and small caves in that area.

We went on 4 of the trails in the area and all were great. Each trail is unique. We will always do the trails in every vacation we take to Fairfield Bay, Arkansas.

Best kept secret in the Midwest.Hot but it's Arkansas in summer;thats what air conditioning is for.:).Beautiful quiet place to enjoy by yourself or with your significant other..Great huge Ozark mt.lake to boat, fish, swim in .lake water is crystal clear. We loved the shoreline with it many coves.View from sugar loaf mt. is super. Tennis courts.,hiking trails, swimming pools, two great golf courses are available for free or for few bucks.. We thought that the "Bay" was a great place to enjoy great sunrises and sunsets or just loaf.Bring your own adult beverages cause the facility is in a "dry county"! In the final analysis the many advantages of the Amenity outweigh this inconvenience No hotels but the on site condos are clean and better than a motel room by far and rent for about the same as most moderately priced hotel rooms in the area. Good selection of local and convenient restaurants. We will be back in the fall for the fall colors.Over all a much better experience than Branson's/Sliver Dollar city atmosphere. .
