wild alaska charters - whale watching tours

We can highly recommend Wild Alaska for a very personal whale watching experience. Janish was very respectful of the whales and handled his boat skilfully and we got some amazing views and photos of the whales. Just being out in the ocean and hearing the breathing of so many whales was amazing in itself. If you want to be with a crowd and need to jostle for a position to get photos of whales then go with the larger boats, but if you want a personal experience then choose Wild Alaska. This trip was a highlight in our trip to Alaska.

best whale watching trip i've ever been on.jan was losing money by just taking 2 of us,but we went anyway.jan is very knowledgable about movement and what the conditions are telling the animals to do.we really got lucky and had an orca blow right by the side of the boat and swim right under it. might mention jan is also a diver

We went with Skipper Jan on August 8, 2012 and the trip was fantastic. Jan took us to Point Adolphus and whales were all around us. He will reposition so you can drift silently through the active areas. His boat is basic but very nice, and his experience is exceptional. It was a real treat and a real value.Ed & Trisha from Texas
