Nice clubhouse and putting green. Driving range leaves a little to be desired. As for the course itself, very nice layout that is enjoyable for all skill levels. Some beautifully laid out holes over creek beds, around hills, etc. The greens are fair and roll true. Worth the money!

We have a group of friends that play near gulf shores Alabama each year. This is one of the courses we love to play...... It's super nice, the staff is helpful and friendly, and you can grab a nice lunch in between rounds. The course is always in great shape and beautiful.

First time at Rock Creek, went ahead and played from the back tees, a little over 6900 yards. I'm a 6.1 handicap right now. Shot 78. Could easily have been around par but....who am I kidding???? It's a lack of talent.....but I digress. I should note that most of the holes were in relatively easy locations; only a few pins were on the slopes. My opinion on the difficulty of this course is that it is directly correlated with where the pins are placed on the greens. There are really no difficult tee shots. You can hit driver on pretty much every hole. The fairways are VERY generous. The greens rolled true - no one would be disappointed with the greens on the day I played.I played as a single and a foursome let me through on the second hole. Never saw another golfer the entire round. That probably has something to do with the $59 plus tax greens fees for AM golf. Overall, had a great time. I am planning on moving to the area and will have to give serious consideration to joining this club. Still difficult for me to pay $60/round, but that's the going rate for this level of golf in this area I suppose. Best value for this price range in the area in my opinion, including the slightly more expensive Gulf Shores courses.

Our recent rains have damaged a couple of the bridges on the front nine. So, this will be a nine holer for a while. Still, it is a good layout and the Honors folks do a very good job with the course conditions.

Our golf group of 24 ladies visited the area on a spring road trip and played Rock Creek twice in mid-April. We were welcomed and treated very well by the staff from arrival to departure, which is not always the case at all golf courses. The course was in excellent condition and was a good reflection of it's course and slope rating. We enjoyed our experience at Rock Creek and plan to return.

Surprised my Husband on our Honeymoon with a 1 hour lesson from an instructor ( we had Alex ). He was a nice guy and definitely taught the hubby a few things. We will be back next vaca for another lesson!!

$60.00 green fee somewhat high. Equipment and grounds were well maintained. nice lodge with eating area.

We always enjoy this course and love that fact that the fairways are green in winter as so many courses down here aren't. It's a challenging, but fair course (senior female opinion) with clean, "real" restrooms on the course. Only one hole gives me grief (#2) and I'm sure it's mental. Nice staff and clubhouse.

Our "Boys' Weekend Out" group has played this course for many years and it never lets us down. It is always in great shape, the pro shop, golf course and restaurant staffs are always cordial. The last few years we've played it in the morning and again in the afternoon. Keep up the great work Honours Golf.

Always a good place to have a light lunch after a round of golf - great quality of the food and they are happy for you to share a portion - even present it on two plates - definitely coming back!! Staff extremely friendly!!

Rock Creek is an excellent layout. Some of the homes are a little close, but the course is always in good shape and never fails to challenge.

I recently teed it up at Rock Creek for the first time and I could not have been more impressed with the course and staff. Having never played the course, I could have probably shot better. But that's on me.The course itself is a challenging but fair layout. It was in great shape and drained quickly (to me) with all the recent rain and the rain the day I played it. There were not really more than a few spots that were just soggy. The course has a lot of elevation changes which is nice for a course in the south where they tend to be much flatter than Rock Creek. The greens were in fabulous shape and rolled as true as you could ask for.Every staff member was helpful and had a great personality and was there to assist us with anything we needed or information.Overall a great experience at Rock Creek and I am looking forward to playing here again very soon.

This is a fun course to play. Unlike many of our coastal courses, there is a good bit of elevation changes due to the hilly layout. Number 2, the number one handicap hole, is very tricky with the approach being a long carry over marsh. The Pro Shop staff and beverage girls are always very friendly and helpful. During the summer, they often run promotions where you receive a second round for only a cart fee.

Nice course a must play for Golfers. Can get to be a problem if on a budget. Go play it at least once.
