What a lovely place this place we discovered. Fom the time we checked in at the ranger station to the very clean, immaculate and spacious lots we knew O found a great family vacation spot. This family run park gets my two thumbs up. The attention towards my boys I can't thank the Yogi staff members enough. Thanks again see you all again when I visit Alabama.

After looking at all the sardine packed RV parks between gulf shores and pensacola, we found this gem by accident. This campground and RV park is nestled in an old pine tree farm.... Yes, they have lots and lots of trees and many if the amenities you would expect from a jellystone.Although newer to the jellystone family, it is clear that they care and are working tirelessly to make this place special. It is very peaceful and quiet even with kids.We will definitely return and look forward visiting many more times in the future.

This is our first trip to Alabama and we wanted to find a family friendly place that was central to everything we wanted to explore during our short stay here. This park is perfect for families with children and anyone else looking for a clean wholesome place to stay (read- no scary clientele). It's very "country" yet so close to the Florida Alabama beaches. We're also able to visit the USS Alabama in Mobile and the Pensacola Air Base in FL without having to drive all the way up from the beach. Look at this camp on a map and you will see it's in the perfect spot. We have been traveling extensively in our motorhome and really love to stay in camps run by a family. The folks that run this camp are so nice and work so hard to make sure the grounds are groomed and that you are happy. They have all of the amenities listed on their site in working order and the sites are all spacious with tall pines. Even though there are very few children in the camp (our 2) they still had hayrides and a campfire with smores. I was shocked none of the snowbirds joined us ;). Speaking of snowbirds, this is a great place for them too. The playground isn't smack in the middle of everyone's site, the activity area's are more around the outside of the grounds and we saw a number of big rig snowbirds tucked here and there and everything else on down to the couple tenting across from us. It's worth the stay.

So refreshed after our visit! Our RV site was right on the lake near the duckpond. I loved watching them while we BBQed or sat outside relaxing. My mom was in from California and this was her first time ever going RV'ing. I am so glad to have brought her here for our birthdays. The pond was beautiful and the whole grounds very well kept. We caught catfish and brim and watched another camper catch a bass. This wasn't like an RV site at ALL! It was like actually camping without all the icky stuff. All the natural beauty hasn't been removed with this campground. Space. Trees everywhere! Manicured flowering bushes (enough so that you really don't notice you have neighbors. The site we were in had a picnic table, bbq pit and full service for the rv, so that means we had electric and water/sewer. There was a laundrymat (woot!), showers and restrooms (well kept and clean), a rec room and porch to visit on, tent areas, arcade and a pool. The camp has family friendly... PEOPLE friendly (free) activities... and is also pet friendly. (I am picky about that and was impressed with how well behaved everyone's pets are! and clean!) It's close to some of the most amazing icecream and cheeses I have ever munched on! The camp is also close to the beach and saltwater fishing. Lots of great places to go eat and tourtisty things to do.

We stayed here in July 2012 and March 2013. They became a Jellystone Park about 1 1/2 years ago and have worked hard to provide a wonderful experience for kids of all ages. The campground is well groomed and very clean. Like other Jellystone parks there are themed weekends with Yogi and "Hey Rides" through and around the park. These were probably our grand kids favorite activity with lots of music and Yogi dancing with them. It is family owned and obvious they take pride in maintaining the property and making your stay comfortable. Large campsites, some with full hookups, shady with pine and oak trees with manicured lawn. Fishing pond, in which there were Canadian Geese during our July stay, swimming pool, air conditioned clubhouse for activities which is important during hot summer months. Very relaxing and homey. Price is fair for value.
