This is a truly special place. They have a HUGE selection of wines and craft beers tucked into a restored farmhouse that just invites you in. Jim and Carrie are extremely knowledgeable and were more than willing to help a wine novice such as myself find the perfect bottle! They also do phenomenal wine and beer food pairings which is a great way to try something you've never had before.The same can be said for their annual 99 Bottles of Beer on the lawn event! Overall they are just great people and I'm happy to support them. You should too.

I have been a member of Southern Napa since they opened their doors, and have not regretted it once. They know their wines and can tell you what you want for that special meal you are planning or that get together that calls for a fine wine and food pairing. Carrie, the owner is not only a great chef as is shown by the meals she creates with her pairings, but an expert on her wines. Her prices are fair to great, and she can and will order whatever special wine you desire. By and large, this is the best wine store in Daphne, if not Baldwin county or Alabama.

Stop by before Christmas while visiting Faithope - turns out we used to live in the same area years ago. We had some common friends that were professional hockey players. Had a great time and purchased some terrific wine. I especially like the tasting system. Very nice presentation.We will always stop by when we are in the area,

Southern Napa is a wonderful experience offering a fine selection of wines, beers, and interesting cheeses! Carrie and Jim are so welcoming and wonderful people to boot! It is a real pleasure to visit their shop and have a glass or bottle of wine with one of their delightful cheese plate. their wine tastings with food parings are a treat. They offer such a great selection and are so knowageable about the wines. Don't miss the opportunity to sit under the big oak tree outside or in the cozy atmosphere inside and enjoy a great experience.

While the atmosphere is charming, and the wine, beer, and cheese plates are good, what makes Southern Napa so special are Carrie and Jim, the owners. We go there nearly every Thursday because they always make us feel as if they have been looking forward to our walking in the door! Nearly as soon as we sit down, Carrie is bringing us a glass of our favorite wine or beer!In addition to a wide variety of wines, both in varietal and price point, they also have 2 cases full of an array of cold craft beer, most of which are only $3. They also carry a selection of foods and other gifts, and Carrie can make up beautiful gift baskets!We love the way that Carrie and Jim make every customer feel welcomed and important!

LOVE to spend time at NAPA Fine Wine Store (whose name certainly can't fully encompass the "experience".) Chose three "splashes" (?) of wine and then the owners paired cheeses for us to enhance our relaxing hour spent enjoying the beautiful environment. Highly recommend for a wine experience second to none!

Southern Napa's staff/owners are experienced and a trip to Southern Napa is always a good time. The place is lovely and Jim and Carrie are welcoming and knowledgeable hosts. The wine selection is state of the art. The atmosphere is charming with an inviting outdoor deck under an ancient oak, a main room to sit, chat, and sip among the many bottles of carefully chosen wines, and a "gentleman's" room (for ladies too, of course) with leather and stone. You can't go wrong with a trip to this fine wine shop on Main Street in Daphne, Alabama.

We've attended several wine tastings at Southern Napa. The wine has never disappointed and the food pairings Carrie comes up with are amazing!! The shop is very clean and welcoming. What a great way to spend an evening.

My husband and I attended a wine tasting at Southern Napa and were delighted with our experience. We tasted five different wines from the Beau Joubert Winery in South Africa. A Shiraz, a Cabernet, a Chenin Blanc, a Savignon Blanc, and a wine featured as the Ambassador, all delicious. An extra special treat were the food pairings with the wines...chili garlic prawns, barbecued asian chicken skewers, potato and lamb samosas, and dark chocolate bark with walnuts and dried cherries. Delightful! The proprietors are very helpful when selecting wines. Recommend you visit!

I had my wife's 40th birthday party at Southern Napa Fine Wines. Carrie is super helpful getting a list of wines together for a diverse group of guests with varying tastes. She came up with a wonderful list of appetizers that were a huge hit with all the guests. We had Mascarpone and fig phyllo beggars pursesCroques Meurice (mini, open face serrano ham and gruyere cheese toasts with a fresh béchamel sauce)2 Bistro Combo slates (3 cheeses, 2 salami, crackers & olives) and crab salad with avocados and spicy vinaigrette. I highly recommend them for a party or a nice evening out.
