We only stopped by this gallery on the way back to our hotel, but it was awesome! Very colorful, vivid, playful art. Highly recommend.

Jamie Hayes' Gallery is always a fun visit when I am in New Orleans! Great place for tweens and teens to find a souvenir that's fun and enduring!

I have a discerning opinion of art. This studio is inspiring and fun. I purchased a 2015 piece as my New Orleans "souvenir." It will be a wonderful addition to my phone!

The gallery is one of its kind. The paintings are terrific. Prices are on the upper level for the framed works. Each painting is numbered and signed by Jamie himself. Sales stuff is willing to negotiate on certain paintings. Postcards are nice. Take your time, you will not be embarrassed.

I have collected NOLA posters for years during Mardi Gras. Since Katrina, many poster shops are gone and the Krewe's have decided to sell their own posters rather than to local shops. Jamie Hayes designs are humerous and capture the jouful spirit of New Orleans. I have collected a few of his pieces over the years. They are conversation starters. One tip...if the piece is dated, ask for the price tomorrow! The closer to the day after Mardi Gras, the cheaper my piece got. It started at $1100 and I got it for $750 a day later. I dont know if this was a staff error, or a pricing strategy. My piece arrived promptly as promised. I will be back!

Came upon this gallery as we walked around the French Quarter. Very unique, whimsical and colorful art. We ended up buying a framed print of a trio of dancing colorful frogs and had it shipped from the store to our home. Friendly (not pushy or rushed) staff. Recommended and worth a visit.

We make a point of visiting the Jamie Hayes Gallery every time we are in New Orleans. We love his whimsical designs and friendly staff. It's a great place for unique souvenirs of this great city and it's in a very convenient location.

Don't forget entry here during walking in French Quarter, and you will see other world. New Orleans offers many shops with voodoo dolls, various trumpery sold for "supernatural" prices. But Jamie Hayes Gallery offers real artistic experience. As though return to years when Beatles came with Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album. Interesting, a little psychedelic, and simple really different. On very small area you can see interesting pictures and many various souvenirs. You can find many on web, but try find a few minutes for visiting, and I am sure that you will leave gallery with nice gift for your family and/or friends.

After walking through frenchman market and most of the shops along Jackson Square we found Jamie Hayes Gallery. What a treat! We loved the whimsical shop and the fact that we weren't buying something that everyone else would have. The woman working there was friendly and accomodating in letting me try on various sizes to get the right fit. We left with a bag of very cool shirts that we will be proud to wear even after leaving NOLA.

You can tell your on Royal by the smell of horse poop. We stopped in here to look around based on other trip advisers. Its a neat little art store. All made by local Jaimie Hayes. He has some interesting prints for sale and the normal tourist crap for sale. If you checking out Royal street and the local art stores its worth a 3 min stop. If your not into art don't bother. We did pick up 3 prints.

This gallery is just a fun and eccentric place to visit while in New Orleans.Plus it offers affordable "New Orleans" art for tourists. In other words, it is a great place to buy memorabilia and/or gifts.

Unique aspects of the traditional New Orleans "Cat" portrait. We now own at least 10 pieces. Colors vary and can tie into any decor.
