What a great asset for Jennings! The Zigler is worthy of a stop for I-10 travelers with an appreciation of art, Americana, and/or southern work and folk traditions. It is off Hwy. 27, four blocks south of the Hwy. 90 intersection, then east about a block.Among the 19th and 20th century paintings of workers, musicians, gentry and landscapes is an Audubon elephant folio!China, ceramics, and the stuff of living of common folk and the "well-heeled" are displayed in a pleasing, setting. The house itself is a display of sorts.Go peruse the Zigler holdings and get a feel for life in south Louisiana.

Love the Cajun subjects in the museum. Great place to bring the kids to see what this area was like and what people have contributed through the years.

Economically cost for quality works of art rare in S/W Louisiana. Christmas decorations interesting also.
