If war history is your thing then this place is perfect! The workers are veterans and love talking to people about the items there.

Tony Whitlow, (who was at one time the state senator) was the attendant who took great care in explaining much of the exhibit, He was very well informed about all that was on display. Items from WW 1 -- the Vietnam War were on display. There even was a memorial wall that contained the names of all who fought and died from Mercer County. Tony is in the process of establishing a section dedicated to the Civil War. Tony is also using much of his own personal money to work on the displays as there have been many donated by the local people of the county. He also gave our son a hat as we were leaving. All this is free to view. Located in the center of town across from the main square. Don't miss this treasure!
