Just west of Princeton is the Captain Swift covered bridge. I had already been over the red covered bridge just north of town and wanted to see this one. It's larger than the other one as it has two lanes and it's only about 9 years old. It may not be old and historic like the other one but it adds to the beauty of the area. There is a parking lot on the eastern side of the bridge to get a better look. I kind of wish that there were more of these around as it makes a creek crossing the the Big Bureau Creek look more scenic instead of your typical concrete bridge.
