Had distinct pleasure of serving in a good friends wedding party. Us men spent weekend at on of the rental cabins, and the gals spent the weekend down the road in another. Excellent experience. Rental cabins are of very nice size and well apportioned. I would assume that they could be of good use for any type of leisure activity. Also a very nice selection of activities....mini-golf, zip line, etc. A truly nice experience!

The meeting facilities, the cabins, golf, swimming, are all top notch. The scenery is lovely. The facilities are well maintained.

Grand View is a wonderfully clean, family park. There are large playgrounds, mini golf, frisbee golf, rental cabins, swimming pool and water playground, as well as wallking/hiking. Last, but not least, don't forget about the ziplining! Just don't be afraid of heights. :) The park also puts on various events throughout the year. This is a very nice park with an occasional old fashioned feel.

This is a nice park to take your entire family. They have miniature golf, picnic tables, a swimming pool and now have a zip line. It's reasonable too.

zip line at grand vue was GREAT. First experience for 4 of us. The staff were very encouraging and positive. Trevor and mike were wonderful. Enthusiastic, they really enjoy their job and the people. Even during a "rescue " they were assuring. Really felt safe and in good hands. Ashly was awesome. Very invested and also enthusiastic about the zip and the park. Thanks all. Cold though this time of year

We went there with family for mainly and ONLY the zipline. Its an amazing experience for 10 bucks. They provide shoes, rope seat (I don't know what they call it).- Cost is 10 USD per trip- The zip line is around 4.5 miles long- The journey on the rope is just 40 seconds- 2 ropes run in parallel- Not for anyone less than 90 lbs- They provide the gear and test them in a small set up before asking us to hang on the rope, so it is safe- They provide guidance on how to travel, where to hold on the gear while on the zipline- You may have to climb wooden stairs for around 10 floors before you climb down on the zip line- Then they will take you in a bus back to the place where you started- If you want to take a photo or a video, you can seek their help. What we did was, I first went once on the zip line, gave the cell phone to the person who received me and told him that I will come again with family in next 10 minutes and asked him to shoot us. They were very helpful that they took several pics and videos of us.- Drinks available through vending machine- Worth every penny

If you're looking for a great ziplining course this is the place to go. I was impressed with how helpful and friendly the staff was; they really made the experience a great one. The course itself was newer looking and you can tell they spent the money to build it right. It's apparent that they make safety a priority and even a first-timer should feel safe while using the course. The views were fantastic especially along the final zip which showcases the view of the city.We purchased a Groupon package and went with friends and it was a great purchase. I would say that at the regular price this seems a little pricey but you are out on the course for several hours and I have no complaints about the experience itself. While I didn't use any other sections of the park, I did notice that the grounds were in great condition and it seems like a really nice park.

I've always wanted to go zip lining so when I found the Grand Vue Park zip line tour 1 1/2 hours from home I reserved a spot. My husband went along too. This is a great couples trip. Danny and Megan were our guides. They were fun but very safety conscious. Took us and 4 other couples through the 8 lines over beautiful valleys and tree tops. Saw several deer in the forest below. As other readers indicated there are several hills and towers to climb while carrying your gear but I am fifty years old and not the most fit but I was able to handle fine. No one rushes you so you can take your time. I'd recommend this tour. It was a lovely day trip and another check off on my bucket list!

Went to grandview pool with my son and his with 2 children! the pool wasnt to bad emep wise, but the kiddie pool was freezing way to cold for the little ones to go in, we had to take the babies in the big pool! the strange thing about it when we paid to get in the price was more for the kids to get in then the adults it was $3.00 for dults and $5.00 for the girls, who are 2 and 4! dont understand that at all! we had a great time, considering the baby pool was so cold, and yes we will go back ...

So here are the PROS to the Grand Vue Park Zipline Tour - The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable - made it enjoyable. The zips were exciting and the last four very scenic. You didn't have to stop yourself at the end platform there was an automatic brake system. The harness made you feel very secure and going off the end of the platform was very easy. The CONS - You had to climb the tower three separate times carrying your harness which was said weights 10 lbs. the first time was to start. After four consecutive zips you had to climb a hill - take a break - then climb the tower. Then I think it was after two more you had to climb a spiral staircase to the next zip again carrying your harness and trying to maneuver up a narrow staircase. I believe there was the hill again between these zip. I asked one of the guides if I could have a ride up in her little jeep which made it much better. Then you climbed the tower one more time for your last zip. I think it should be mentioned on the site about the amount of climbing to be done. We didn't find out until the night before we went or we may have thought twice about going.

I am a Marshall County resident, and have enjoyed the many amenities of Grand Vue Park since I was a teenager (and that was a long time ago...trust me when I say that!). My review is about all the characteristics of Grand Vue Park, but I want to especially tell you about the remarkable experience that me and my family had on May 16, 2014. We booked our son's and daughter-in-law's wedding for that date, and were so excited to have an outdoor wedding with a beautiful shelter in a gorgeous location. Unfortunately, mother nature didn't really want to make things easy for us, and on top of a ton of rain and hail, a water line pipe decided to burst, leaving a mess of mud, muck, and mire. Needless to say, my son and his fiancee were freaking a little. However, when I was told about the situation, I immediately called the park, and left a message. Within the hour, Craig White, Park Manager, called me. Not only did Craig have it all under control, he called me personally, and reassured me that everything would be in perfect condition in time for the decorating to begin. He assured me that if there were ANY issues, he had a Plan B, and would personally make sure everything was in order. It was, and he did. Not only did he call me before, but he called me that morning, and made a personal visit to make sure we had all that we needed. He even issued a "quiet time" during the ceremony. Everything was perfect. I HIGHLY recommend Grand Vue Park for a "WV Destination Wedding" site!! I HIGHLY recommend Grand Vue Park as a "WV Destination Wedding" site!! (Or, a zip-lining, hiking, swimming, swinging, playing, frisbee, par-3, and mini golfing site....you get the picture!)....There really is something for everyone, and everyone should enjoy the many amenities that this gorgeous park has to offer. Beautiful, clean, full of activities and adventures!! GREAT place to be! KUDOS to Craig White and the friendly, welcoming staff. MUCH appreciated!!

I went this past weekend with a group of 10 friends. Some of us were scared out of our wits at first. The staff was friendly, understanding and more that patient, not to mention professional. The really made us all comfortable and by the end of the second line everyone was having a great time. I cannot recommend them enough! Give yourself plenty of time because a canopy tour can take longer than 3 hours, but it is well worth the experience.

My wife and I and a bunch of other coincidental Pittsburghers went ziplining at the Grand Vue Park ziplining place in the park. It was a great experience. The weather was great, not too hot or cool. Our guides Ashley and I forget the guy's name (but he was very entertaining) were really nice and professional and kept us all entertained and safe. The eight lines had good variety of views and distance and the equipment was top notch. I definitely recommend this for a fun day out.

Best park around our zip line guide Ashley had us laughing from start to finish! My only regret is the zip lines are not opened in the cooler weather cause I wish I could go today! Aaaamazing views!
