Nothing special, not at my aspectations...I traveled from Europe to see the oldest National Park... That is it?.. A fight betwen humans on coach and mobiles??? Where are animals aside of humans?.

Take your time and take it all in. A lot to soak in. Brings you back in time and makes you appreciate the current infrastructure and realize how much damage was done by the fires.

Great experience and is worth the visit. The national park has more than several things that I did not know. It always interesting to know more details.

The reuse of train depot as historic center brought back to life a great building. The exhibits showed the a way of life and travel long forgotten.

Spent a late afternoon exploring the exhibits here. Learned about the 1959 earthquake and 1988 fires. Good exhibits on local history and the early years of Yellowstone. Say hi to Snaggletooth.

We needed something to do indoors and tried the history center. The video about the 1959 earthquake was my favorite part. Interesting displays. Fair price.

This historic center is located in the old Union Pacific Railroad station. My friend and I planned only hour or so. Boy that was mistake. We ended up staying 3 hours. Would have stayed longer, but we hadn't eaten and started getting sick. Best place to get the history of Yellowstone, West Yellowstone and the area. They are several movies to watch (take a sweater 1- earthquake movie room was cold). Don't forget to go out back to train out there. It was fascinating the original tours. Suggestions - Spend the day in West Yellowstone. Do this , then lunch and Grizzly discover center after lunch.

If you have time, this is an interesting museum. However, it's not a must see. The admission allows re-entry for several days.

Located just outside the west entrance of the park, this museum is housed in an old railroad station. Although it is not very large, its displays and movies will give the visitor a decent idea of the interplay between railroad and national park, and of the challenges faced by the park yesterday and tomorrow. One hour, or perhaps a little more, are needed to view the exhibits and watch the movies. And that will be an hour well spent.

Center contains several displys which feature the history of the area. It also displays two videos which illustrate the power of nature that shaped the area - earthquake and fire.

Self guided tour was very informative. We had a stormy afternoon and this was a perfect place to go after a day in the Park. Enjoyed seeing Park history, train history and general information about the area, it's geology, flora, fauna and development.

This was a very interesting museum. They had several films which were extremely informative. It was a little light on actual memorabilia and somewhat heavy on printed displays. The people who worked there were very helpful, conscientious and courteous.

We enjoyed the video of the 1988 fire and earthquake. Many artifacts to see inside and out of the museum.
