Snowmobiling in Yellowstone was amazing ! And YYRS was a fantastic way to do this ~ There were only 5 people in our group, meaning we could go further and move more nimbly than most of the other groups we saw. And we were treated to a range of views and experiences across the day. YYRS provided top-notch equipment and winter weather gear for the day. Best of all, Pat our leader was so good at spotting animals, that we were able to see bison, a grizzley, some beavers, american eagles, and swans ...in addition to all the amazing backdrops of the park itself, sparkling in the icy whiteness. It was such a great day, we're still talking about it a month later ... Highly highly recommend this day of exploring with YYRS !

Snowmobiling in Yellowstone is an unforgettable experience! The staff of Yellowstone Year Round Safaris was great in every way. Helpful, fun, courteous, knowledgeable ... especially Pat our guide! The snowsuits and gear looked to be brand new and one of the sleds had 12 miles on it. We were so close to herds of bison we could have touched them (we didn't because they didn't seem like the friendly sort!) We also saw a couple eagles, so trumpeter swans and some of the most unusual landscapes anywhere. Plenty of time to stop and take pictures. We were off and riding after a quick 10-15 minute overview of the controls. This was our first time on snowmobiles and a full day trip was probably more then we should have taken on. Half a day would have been plenty for us. Also, my wife and I rode double which makes controlling the sled much harder ... my son started on the single sled. We all traded spots throughout the day and had a great time. VERY tired and some sore muscles at the end of the day, but worth every minute of it!
