montana river guides

We did two trips with MTG's guide John. One was an afternoon float trip on the slow part of the Clark River where we used kayak duckies as well as a raft guided by John. It was a wonderful afternoon of going through small rapids on the boats and jumping in the river to cool off during the calm spots. The next morning John and another guide took us through the Alberton Gorge rapids. These rapids created a much more adventurous ride than the day before. Our guides made us feel totally comfortable in their capable hands. At the end, a few of us floated through a smaller rapids in our life jackets which was a blast! Our group was 11 all together and everyone loved their experience with Montana River Guides.

Decided to check out a rafting trip with my wife and sons, age 7 and 13. We got a couple suggestions from the staff at Trailhead in Missoula. Called the first number, they were booked solid. Called the second number and got a reservation easily. Drove about 30 minutes from Missoula to MRG easily. The gudes were really friendly and knowledgeable. They seemed very experienced and made my kids feel very comfortable very quickly. Our guide, Brian, was really positive and funny. My kids are still talking about his jokes. We saw Bald Eagles and Osprey. We also went swimming a bit in the Clark Fork. I highly recommend these Guides, they're the Best!

I was sent here to obtain more ideas and techniques for my line of work. As an experienced rescue professional and instructor I found Cody and staff great to work with. Professional and light hearted at the same time. It was my pleasure and I would really recommend anyone wanting to do some whitewater anything to give them a call.
