Was on the BG Parkway on Friday as the wife wanted to watch a movie in Bardstown. Was also on the BG on the way to/from the Smokies as well to/from Cincinnati. I'd much rather use the BG than have to go to Louisville and face heavy traffic.Construction isn't that bad.In the fall, there's nice foliage. You can also catch a waterfall if you're eastbound depending if there was a recent rain.

It is a relaxing drive and has some good views of some farms and such. But not much to it. There is not much traffic so that always makes things enjoyable.

I loved driving this parkway on three occasions. It rolls through the beautiful Kentucky countryside, giving you a feel for this beautiful area.

The rolling hills of Kentucky are beautiful in the spring. The old farmhouses, landscapes and towns are cool.

If you don't want a heavily traffic road use the blue grass parkway. I have been on both sides of it and I love the drive. Very scenic. The road is being repaired. Due to low traffic you don't mind the construction. In the fall this would be a great scenic drive.

Beautiful scenery! Some spots of the parkway are very poorly paved, or under construction, so watch your speed - but the rest is great.

It has been a bumpy ride for a ling time, but now it is getting a much needed facelift. Going to Lexington will be much more enjoyable now.

we traveled this road from Midway/Versailles to New Haven. There were 2 long areas of construction where it was down to 2 lanes, 1 going each way. Be forewarned. Speed drops to 55mph during these areas!

its a road not much more to say about that it takes you from point a to point B i take it 5 times a year or so on my way to Tennessee area

Patch work has made for a old fashioned Kentucky massage...needs work

Scenic and less stressful than the freeway. It is a modern limited access highway, but lovlier.

travel daily...other than some construction going on near Elizabethtown, not a bad road to travel.

Just a wonderful, scenic drive and don't forget to stay at Kentucky's State Parks. Cabins are very nice, safe and camping can be wonderful

This is a pretty great road. It's really helpful getting you where you need to go, as long as where you need to go is near it. It's well-paved, with luxurious, wide lanes. There are helpful lines to stay between, and those little bumpy things to wake you up should you fail to remain between the lines. If you go the speed limit, people will pass you. Be sure to smile and wave as they go by.
