We moved to Georgetown a few years back and we found Evans Orchard on a whim and decided to take our kids. They loved it, and so did we! It's an incredibly affordable activity for your kids. They have slides, swings, a petting zoo, a huge inflatable pillow to jump on, and in the fall they have a hay fort and tractor and pony rides. They have other things as well, but these are some of the "highlights" for my kids. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a wonderful store where they sell cider, fruits and vegetables, baked goods and a variety of local crafts. It's a great place to visit in the spring and fall, in the summer it can be a little hot and uncomfortable, but that is more of a personal preference for me. I would highly recommend Evans Orchard. It's one of the only worthwhile family activities here in Georgetown!

My daughter and I drove down from Cincinnati on a Sunday looking for fall activities and are very glad we did. The price was great. $8 for the play area and no charge to adult to enter (there is a $3 if you want to jump on the inflatable bouncer). We spent several hours there and had a blast. I was a bit disappointed that they advertised "crafts" and only had 2 booths. If you are there try the apple pie- you will never be able to eat another. The only thing that could have made it better would be some vanilla ice cream (available for purchase but not practical when you are taking the pie home). We will definitely be back!!

We've been here several times with the grandkids - great times! In addition to the orchard (I think you can pick your own apples?), there is a store with picked produce, other foodie items and gift merchandise. Outside is a small diner-type for those who didn't pack a picnic. BUT - the real treat is the play area! $8 per child (adults free!) to roam around a haybale castle, a rubber duck race, dried corn in an enclosure and the newest treat - a LARGE jumping area (hint: there are weight limits and if you didn't like jumping on a water bed, you won't like jumping on this) that the young 'uns seem to adore. Give your kids a non-electric treat and an afternoon in the fresh air!!
