I am not usually an adventurous person, but I loved the ziplines here. The two over the gorge were awesome - especially with the fall colors of October. We also rented a go pro camera and my son and I switched off wearing it so we have some great video of our zipping. I highly recommend both the zipline here. We also stayed several days at the Cliffview Lodge onsite and it was also awesome. Room was a bit small for the 4 of us, however, with the wrap around porches, nice living area, breakfast tables for us to play board games and kitchen for simple food and snacks, it was the complete package for fall break with two kids, ages 11 and 14.

My son and I loved the zipline tour, and look forward to returning soon. Lines #4 and #5 were amazing!

I just took my son and 3 friends to Red River Gorge Zipline for his 16th birthday. WOW what a weekend. We stayed in one of the cabins close by and went early Saturday morning to ZIP. It was great. It was a lot of fun and very exciting for everyone (even us adults). The guides were friendly and very informative. We will definitely go back again and would recommend it to everyone.

My first tip is that although you have the option to stop after line 3. DO NOT! The best ones are 4 and 5 and if you are afraid of heights you can just focus on racing another person on the line next to you. JUST DO IT! My last tip is trust your guide! They seriously care about your safety and are good at calming your nerves when you're nervous. We laughed so hard and had so much fun with my community members and the guides! Aaron, Pete, Preston, Tyger, and Will can't go wrong with any of them as your guides! BEST EVER!

We had a wonderful first experience ziplining here! The views can't be beat. All the staff were friendly and we felt so safe with our guides. I would highly recommend them and we will be back!

After zipping over 20,000 people safely and having over 160 great reviews, it is very disappointing to receive this (our first) negative review. All of our staff and management take this very personally and we are very sorry that this guest feels they had a negative experience with us. In addition to speaking with this guest, we have spoken to the guides as well as another party that was on the same tour with this group. We have really tried to get to the bottom of what happened but have been unable to confirm the allegations through staff or other guests. Here are some of the inconsistencies that have been confusing to us:- The review states this guest visited in September. This is not correct. The guest visited October 18.- In talking with this guest, the guest steadfastly maintains that after they got on the platform for the first zipline at the very beginning of the tour, they had to stand there for a half hour in the rain to wait for a wedding and they got wet. The other tour guests said they did have to wait a bit towards the end of the tour at the platform for the 4th zipline. She said although overcast, it was not raining and she did not get wet and it was ‘no big deal’.- At some point in the tour, guest maintains that two people were unhooked from both safety tethers. This is allegation we take very seriously. In trying to get more information from the guest, we asked several questions. Did he remember which guides? No. Could he tell us exactly which platform to what zipline this happened? Was it, for instance, on the platform for the second zipline, the third, the fourth, etc.? Guest could not articulate where it happened other than to say it happened. When asked if he said something to the guides about this situation, he said he did not. When asked if he mentioned this to the return bus driver, he said he did not. When asked if he mentioned it to the people helping remove the harnesses or the office staff upon exit, he said he did not. The first we became aware of this situation is three days after this person’s tour when this person filled out one of our email surveys and concurrently posted this review. In interviewing our guides, not one of the three guides on this tour remembers this happening. The other tour guest when asked if she observed this situation happening said she did not notice any guest being untethered from both tethers.- The other guests on this tour said she “had fun” and “thought the scouts and adults had a great time” and seemed surprised that they said they did not.All in all, we are not really sure exactly what happened here given the above inconsistencies but we are certainly sorry this guest and his group did not enjoy their experience. Thanks for reading.

My husband and I had a great time and the guides, as well as the entire office staff, were terrific. Professional, courteous and fun. We had ziplined before and Red River Gorge is so far the best. Would highly recommend this great thrill to everyone!!

This was my first ziplining experience and I'm so happy I did it. I was VERY nervous on several zips, but always felt safe with their equipment. Great time and great staff! My husband used his GoPro camera on one of their helmets and we got some fun videos.Side note: I do wish they had taken more photos during the trip and used a better camera. Granted, I only signed up to purchase the photos AFTER we zipped, so maybe they only focused on those that paid for the photo package before the trip. Also, the quality of the photos is pretty low since they're taken with smartphones. I know the main focus is the safety of the guests, but for the price of the digital photos, I expected a little more. Overall I got about 11 digital photos that had my husband and I in them e-mailed to us for $20. Most are blurry or dark.

This was my first ever zip line tour, and what can I say? It was simply amazing! The tour guides were fun, and awesome, Who ever knew Kentucky had these kind of mountains!? If you are in the Lexington area, it is well worth the 1-hour drive to visit here!

What a great experience! Views were awesome! I am afraid of heights but went anyways because my friends were all going and I didn't want to miss out! Glad I did it! The guides were funny and made us feel comfortable and safe. It really was so much fun!!

This company is extremely professional and organized. The guides are awesome. They take care and pride in making sure everyone is safe. They are super friendly as well! If you sign up online before you arrive they send you all the forms and waivers via e-mail. They also sent very specific instructions on how to locate them as this place is rather remote. However, we were staying in a nearby cabin which was a quick 2 minute drive away. The zip lines are awesome. The first few are shorter but nestled in the trees. The last two are longer but are tandem so you and a partner can zip side by side. It was a lot of fun and I would do it again for sure.
