This is a great park to come to for a family outing. They have shelters that you can rent for parties or events, a large play area, soccer and baseball fields, a couple different walking trails and they have a frisbee golf coarse as well.

I have gone here many dozens of times over the years. I usually just go to walk on the paved path. There are also unpaved paths. I have also fished at the three lakes they have. I'm addition I have attended many events such as touch-a-truck. I recommend this park for locals. It's not a vacation destination, but it is a great place for an afternoon get-away.

Englad-Idlewild offers a surprising plethora of activities: there are soccer fields and baseball/softball diamonds, disc-golf, football practice, a very nice children's playground, mountain biking paths, as well as very nice running and hiking trails. A 5k trail is marked. There are picnic shelters and barbecue spots, you can fish, photograph flora and fauna, explore, see wildlife and (on a nice summer day) just lie down in the grass and kick back. A nice brook will provide the background music if you want to sit in the shade and read a book. The park is quiet and safe, cars are kept to a small segment (plenty of parking). If you need them, porta-potties are there, as well as diaper changing facilities. Our kids love it and we always come back relaxed and having spent an enjoyable time.Quite a few Geocaches are hidden in this park! You can find details, including a trail map, here: http://www.boonecountyky.org/parks/Parkinfo/4

I love the trails here. Good for all levels of riders. Also good for trail running. I also love the wildlife on the trails, I've seen a deer almost every time out here. The park as a whole is awesome there is always something going on.

Go for a walk, run or mountain bike the trails. There is a 5K layout. Peaceful on days when there is no soccer practice. Ample parking and got-a-go places. Great solo, with small kids, teens or solo. Using their trails a lot.

This is a great park with many soccer and baseball fields. Good biking and walking trails. Fun park for the kids and a pond to do a little fishing in. They have shelters that can be rented for events or parties as well. Great family fun!

This isn't Colorado, but this is a great place to ride a bike or hike. Total of 13 miles of rigorous trails that will test your skills. Mostly used for mtn biking and consists of intermediate to technical trails. It is free and open to the public. The technical trail is just that, technical!!! Bring some fluids and get out there!
