It jumps out at you on Route One North in Columbia Falls...a giant round very blue building...surrounded by a blue metal fence...highlighted with giant blue buoys...everything is blue. Inside is probably what most would call...Blueberry Heaven. There is a bakery with muffins, pies, and other baked blueberry treats. They have blueberry ice cream (my sister in law loved it)...blueberry candy and much more. We bought a delicious pie to have later in our rented cottage further north on the shore. Lots of books on the blueberry industry in Maine as well as blueberry cookbooks . There are blueberry socks, trivets, tiles, mugs, coloring books, puzzles, toys, magnets....an on and on. Also home decor...lamps, etc., and not all are blueberry related. Many items are Maine related as well. There is a complete children's section...with a blueberry thrown, crowns, and sceptres. Perfect photo op for young and old alike. Owners are super friendly and helpful. Overall, Wild Blueberry Land is lots of fun...kind of kitchy and certainly reminiscent of stops on vintage road trips. This is a must stop, must see landmark. Of course, it is seasonal and closes before the end of September.

Totally delightful tourist escapism. Building looks like a blueberry. They sell tons of blueberry items, including soap. Took lots of treasures home for the office to enjoy.

don't miss, it is worth a turn around if needed. Great pies, blueberry syrup, jam, and spread. Stock up here.

One cannot ask for much more when it comes to a roadside attraction. The big blueberry cannot be missed as you drive north on Highway 1. We stopped in because of the funk and uniqueness and left with several bags of blueberry themed foods and gifts. Try the blueberry oatmeal cookie! We ordered a gluten-free double crusted blueberry pie to pick up later this week. Can't wait to try it out. Lot's of photo ops, including an opportunity to sit in a Blueberry Thrown, with a jeweled crown perched atop your head. Fun place to visit, funky stop on any trip, all while a wonderful sugar filled snack awaits you. There's a minny golf course available, but by the looks of it, I would spend my money on cookies and pies!

PIcked up a pie and some muffins, and came back to shop for some souvenirs. It is a bit dated, but everything seems to be dated around this part of Maine. You can also play a round of mini-golf.

I love stopping at this place any time I'm visiting Route 1 on the Maine Coast. I end up buying way too many blueberry products and thoroughly enjoy all of them. Great homemade baked goods as well, I fondly remember these two cookies I got that tasted a bit like spice cake with blueberry frosting. They also sell pies and all of the blueberry flavored candies, coffee/teas, etc. that you find while visiting Maine. It's fun to get a picture of the wacky blueberry dome building too. Maine Route 1 is one of my favorite scenic drives in the country, and it only gets better north of Bar Harbor, and places like this only add to that.

WE LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE!!! My husband and I were driving to Lebac Maine to visit the West Quoddy Head Lighthouse, and Campobello Island Roosevelt's summer cottage, when we came across this blue Gem of a place, and oh-my-word, we fell in love. Everything is made into a blueberry. They sell almost everything blueberry, and also carry the best blueberry pastries and the BEST blueberry pie of anywhere that came straight from heaven itself! Beyond wonderful, fantastic!!! They also have a blue mini golf that teaches you all about Maine. OH and don't forget to be dubbed KING and Queen Blueberry.. We did :)
