The main entrance to the park is tucked behind a parking lot in the center of town. It is such an unexpected find and it is a relatively flat, easy and pleasant hike or run through the woods. Clearly much thought was put into this park. There are both short and long trails for any age group to enjoy. The bridge is the gateway to the trails and is a pleasure to behold. A bit of tranquility on the edge of downtown.

This park is in the middle of Bridgton and I compare it to Central Park in New York. It is a natural preserve with a conservation easement that protects the fauna, land and animals. It is comprised of approximately 2 miles of trails that are not paved. There is one trail that is dedicated to animals such as dogs but service animals are allowed on all the trails.
