We first tasted Banded Horn Brewing's beer at Beer Camp in Portland on August 1. When we returned to Maine, we knew we needed to visit the brewery. Located in a fantastic old building, the tasting room features a cool bar, plenty of room to spread out, and fun activities to pass the time while hanging out with friends. Michael set us up with a flight and listened intently as we told him of our plans to visit Maine's breweries for the month. He made us a list which was so helpful in planning our trip. I love the Veridian IPA and Pepperell Pilsener. If you are in the area vacationing or touring on the Maine Brew Trail, don't miss Banded Horn.

Got off the train in biddeford (It's the Saco train stop about 2 stops before Portland.) to check out the small town restaurants and came across Banded Horn Brewing Co built inside a mill about 8 months ago. They had a tasting room, ping pong table, games, and on Fridays and Saturdays we are surprised with a local food truck. I tried the Veridian IPA, and a few others. Great tasting beer! You cannot get more Maine than this brewery. Www.bandedhorn.com
