Beautiful theater. Easy access. Lots of places to eat before show. Seating was quick and easy. They handled an almost sold out crowd well. The seating is fine--had enough room to be comfortable. Will definitely go back again.

We saw Annie at Proctor's and it was my first time there and wow it is beautiful. I love going to these grand theaters (this one built in 1926.) Staff are all very helpful (they were holding open the doors for us) and seats comfortable. We sat in Orchestra Center and had a great view of the performance. Tip for intermission, there are bathrooms located near the Will Call counter - use those because people don't remember they are there and there are shorter lines. Definitely will see another performance here at Proctor's.

The lobby, the theater, the employees/volunteers and the shows are all phenomenal. Massive improvement in the last 10 years. This is not the place you visited 12 years ago. Each year gets better and better. The travel Broadway musicals are awesome, the comedians, and such more variety of shows make it a must in your list of entertainments for the capital district. Plus downtown is in the upswing lately.

Proctors Theatre is beautiful gem of a theatre. Prices are a good value. Shows are first rate. Local restaurants are good. It's the perfect weeknight date night for us.

Proctors Theatre is beautiful and will take you back to another time. I see 2-3 shows here a year and they are first rate. Prices are reasonable for what you get. Parking is easy and the restaurant scene in Schenectady is quite good right now. For us, this is the perfect weekday date night.

I have been to Proctor's Theater for many several shows and occasions. The acoustics are fantastic! The architecture is beautiful! This historic theater has been through a thorough restoration process, which included "Goldie" the original pipe organ. Walking in is like a step back in time. I would recommend this venue for any show that may be presented there.

This theater is a true asset to the community. Although I don't live near here, I bought a subscription along with my daughter so that we could have some Mother/Daughter time. The shows that come here are all current and first rate. Having a subscription allows us a lot of flexibility for trading either shows or days, which is very nice. The seats are all good. This theater is very convenient to get to. There is ample parking and there are a lot of great restaurants near by.

Being a native of Schenectady, I saw my first movie here as a 5 year old. Since then I have been in the audience probably hundreds of times at this theater. There are wonderful national touring companies coming through all the time. The venue is beautiful and the prices are reasonable for the quality that you will experience. I love musical theater and dance and there is no shortage of either at Proctor's. There is free parking for evening events in the garage which is about a block away. Yes, you should definitely go and take advantage of this wonderful , historic theater.

Proctor's is a beautiful old theater, lovingly restored, where you can see everything from the latest Broadway tour to classical music, dance, and theater. In the smaller theaters in this arts complex, you can see movies, folk music, and a whole variety of other entertainments. Parking is free in the nearby parking garage. There is even valet parking if you need it.

Exquisite theater in downtown Schenectady. Broadway caliber shows. Great sets and sounds as well. Definitely a wonderful place to see a show and then grab dinner at one of the many great local restaurants.

Very beautiful inside, great customer service, affordable prices, safe parking and neighborhood, and best yet, the shows. They keep offering better and better things each year. So many Broadway shows presented there. Live it.

Proctor's Theater, built in 1926, is nearing its centenary. A few decades ago, it was saved from the wrecking ball, refurbished and brought life back to downtown Schenectady. A few years ago, the stage was enlarged allowing more Broadway productions to be brought to Schenectady. More recently, adjacent real estate was procured allowing Proctor's additional venues for smaller productions (stand up comedy, for example). Every year, my husband and I see four or five shows at Proctor's and enjoy them immensely and plan to do so for many years to come. Parking in the municipal garage is block away and in comparison to NYC theaters, ticket prices are reasonable and the theater has been well maintained after refurbishment. With several restaurants nearby, Proctor's makes a evening in downtown Schenectady enjoyable.

The chance to see top orchestra's, ballet companies, and top touring companies of Broadway's best shows is a great gift to us all.
