If there is a plant you want and can't find it here, it's probably not indigenous to the area. They seem to have every kind of plant available from fruits and vegetables, hanging baskets, flowers, greenery, great staff who can answer just about any question. The site has grown by leaps and bounds over the last 40 years and unlike so many places, remains in the same family and continues to enjoy ever growing success as customers keep coming back and bringing their friends. Forget the big box stores with plants grown thousands of miles away waiting to die in our climate. Ther eis no value there. At Northern Botanical Gardens, their plants stand the test of time, beautifully.

Looking for unusual plants? Good prices? A great variety of hostas? Heirloom vegetables? Great hanging baskets? Different sizes of perennials? Knowledgeable, competent staff? A gorgeous place to visit? Northern Dutchess Botanical Gardens is all of those things and more. I have been going there for years and am never disappointed!

If you want to increase your knowledge AND variety of annuals and perennials on your poperty, Northern Dutchess is the place to go. They have grown by leaps and bounds since they first opened over 30 years ago. It's owned and run by the Santini Family. The drive to it is beautiful, too. It's a place one can return to several times during the season.
