Why do I have to have my round rushed along by the ranger 4 times when our foursome played 18 in 4hrs and 15min? How can I be charged $2.50 for a coffee out of the coffee pot behind the cash register? They've upgraded the club house and course, but they still have the service of a small time operation. Seems like they are focused on driving volume these days.

The course is nice witha pretty layout. They say they are the best greens in WNY, I don't think so! Very exspensive to play on weekends($60). The staff is the worst part of this course. The restraunt has decent food.

Wondeful 18 hole public course with a learning center consisting of a Short Game Facility, Driving Range and 3-Hole Family Course. There's a new clubhouse that houses, Rooth's Sky-Lite Bar & Grill, a nice casual restaurant with full bar, and a pro shop. The outdoor covered patio area has additional tables and Adirondack chairs facing the beautiful views. You can watch the approaching golfers on eighteen from a great vantage point while siting by the outside fire pit. Occasionally, there is live music entertainment. There's also a Timber Framed Tournament Pavilion for private events. One of the barns is used to store donated equipment for First Tee Foundation. A new Mid-Course Bathroom is being constructed between the 5th and 13th holes. Thank goodness!Aside from being immaculately manicured, and having beautiful views and heathers that require you to hit straight or bring lots of balls, the service is friendly and warm, As if that wasn't enough, the history of the course is a great story in and of itself. Donated land and the collaboration of amazing individuals with the desire to create a public recreational facility and golf course to serve the entire Western New York Community resulted what is possible one of the best public courses in Western New York. The new owner, Mr. Cellino also made a commitment to the First Tee Foundation allowing them to continue to use the course and The First Tee Building for the benefit of the children free from any charges.
