I love Cutco Knives and KA-BAR knives have a reputation of their own prior to Cutco buying them out. When I have to use another knife for anything and its not Cutco, I cringe! Once you get used to the quality of Cutco knives you will never want to use another brand of knife, the rest of your life. They are expensive and worth every penny. The quality is so good that they provide a Forever Guarantee. They mean forever also. No small print to worry about. I have a set and my brother has a set and my Mom has a set and my Step-Mom has a set. Many of my friends also have their own sets. I always hear them raving about their Cutco. Anyone who spends time in the kitchen will adore these knives. I could review each one individually but you can just go to their website. It is done well also and provides all you need to know about their products. They also provide free lifetime sharpening. Don't let the price steer you away. Corvette of the Chevy line. Or the Thunderbird of the Ford line. You get my meaning. You can not beat these knives. Many of their knives, past and present are on display for you to see. The ones that are currently being produced and sold are in display cases and this is also the location to take your knives for any repair or replacement. You can also ship them for this or sharpening. Sharpening falls under repair. The visitor center is like a little Cutco/KA-BAR museum with wall displays showing the history of the company. My Brother and I took our Cutco knives in for sharpening and dropped them off. They said it would be 2-3 days and they would call us. When you ship it is 2-3 weeks and they ship them back at your cost. Details on website. I recommend visiting the Cutco Visitor Center and I highly recommend owning Cutco knives.

I pick up gifts for friends and family here. The knives are top quality, but not cheap. You get what you pay for! Don't expect a discount, and you'll be happy. I buy here to support the local economy as well as give my friends and family the best kitchen knives possible., You can't go wrong with a Cutco knife. You can order online if you so desire. Buy them, its well worth it!The staff in the Visitor Center is friendly and quite efficient and will show you what that particular knife can do and how it feels in you hand when you use it. Worth checking out!

I enjoyed the historical displays and read many of them. The older I get, the more I understand the "you get what you pay for" adage, but WOWSA, you better bring plenty of cash when you visit this shop if you plan to buy anything. We didn't take advantage of the sharpening service, but I think it is pretty nice that you can bring you knives here for sharpening...wish we'd have thought to toss ours in the car!

Visitors center offers some interesting history on a long standing quality product. Displays of knives and an understanding of why they are just simply better. Nice little gift shop, where they also make and sell knives for Ka-bar.

I can't say enough about Cutco products, they are above the highest expectations. And being able to walk in to the store in this small town is great. Michele was wonderful and patient and handled all the Monday morning shoppers professionally and without rushing. I look forward to continuing to increase my Cutco collection.

This is the the home of world famous Cutco and K-Bar knives. The shop includes a small museum that reviews the history of the company and their knives. It also includes a gift shop where you can purchase/order any of the knives they produce. I personally own a wide variety of CUTCO products and almost annually take them in for their free sharpening. Once sharpened----BE CAREFUL...when making gifts of knives from CUTCO we ALWAYS include band-aids for the inevitable cuts...they are sharp! When sharpening my knives, inevitably, CUTCO will replace damaged knives that do not meet their specifications FREE OF CHARGE! This is a great local secret...CUTCO knives are well worth the investment...an investment for a lifetime! The customer service here is paramount!

We love Cutco products; have been using them for many years. Stopped by the visitor's center recently while in Olean. Purchased 6 new steak knives and learned of the program to "trade-in" our knife block for a new model that will hold the newer, longer steak knives. Cutco customer service is the best! If you don't yet have Cutco knives in your kitchen, you're not using the best knives available.

I have owned Cutco knives since 1977. I am well aware of them because my family is from Olean.Normally I mail my knives to NY to be sharpened; this time I was in the area and stopped in. While the Center is quite a bit smaller than the Case Museum in Bradford, the displays were very interesting, but only if you are familiar with the products. I enjoyed the timeline and display of retired products. There was also a pen knife history display. All current products are there to see eith two helpful staff members to answer questions.I dropped off several knives for sharpening. They were serviced within the week and I received a phone call.

While on vacation we visited the Cutco visitor center. Very well laid out chronicling the history of the company. Nice display cases with the history of their products, and nice sales area. I purchased a nice KABar knife.
