tags summer stage

I like seeing shows at Tags because it is spacious. I don't like crowds so going to a concert can be stressful. Tag's is large enough where you can get out of the way of the crowd and the drunks. They do a pretty good job keeping order. I have seen many DWI checkpoints when leaving the shows.

we went with our daughter, son-in law, and granddaughter (2) year old. Although it was on the menu, the waitress said there was no pizza for the granddaughter. Also asked for broccoli and were told no, even though that was on the menu as well. And no milk, 3 strikes...what do you make a white Russian with ? Disappointed..and our food wasn't very good

I went to the recent Boston/Blue Oyster Cult show with my wife and older son. We sat in the reserved seat section for 20 dollars extra per ticket and it was well worth the extra money. Reserved seating patrons get wait service and the staff will handle cash. I found all of the service staff to be courteous and friendly. If you don't have reserved seating, you must buy tickets for food and beverages and the lines are long for the tickets at least toward the beginning. The ticket lines thin out as the night progresses. The reserved seating section has concrete paths in a grid pattern that separate the sections and make navigation easier. The plastic chairs feel a little flimsy. I would not want to be more than 350 pounds and try to sit in one of those chairs. There is also a gold section closest to the stage but those tickets were about 40 dollars more for this particular show. They get some big names in there and I recommend you reserve as early in the spring as you can because some of the shows sell out.Going in, we tried to carry a small bag with bottled waters. They made me carry that back to the car after waiting in a long line to get in. I did look for signs and didn't see any and told the security guy so. Coming back from my car the same security guy waived me in ahead of the line which was still pretty long so I appreciated that.There were a few people standing in the reserved section and I wish security would have made them sit down as I read they did at other concerts. I was grateful that nobody was standing in front of us but felt sorry for those patrons who had their show ruined buy a few jerks. At the end everybody was standing, but that seemed appropriate. The only other thing I wish they would do is extend a concrete path to the bathrooms and concession area and keep patrons off those paths because it can be difficult navigating through the crowd to get to those areas once you leave the orderly reserved section.All in all though, it is a great location and a great venue. Parking cost 7 dollars and there were people tailgating in the parking lot before the show. I think you could go there, pay 7 dollars to park and just listen to the show from the parking area unless security clears the parking area once the show starts.

Took a 4 day trip from home near Ottawa,Canada to go see Boston and Blue Oyster Cult...the outdoor facilities are great, in a valley between rolling hills. We got the perfect summer outdoor concert with awesome weather. The parking is well placed ,easy to park ...once inside, bar food and beer is available and the beer can be carried to your seating area without restriction. Washrooms are built for the drinking crowd and the building settings makes for a really cool gathering spot.We bought red circle tickets and it was worth the experience with being close to stage and having our own servers bringing the beer to us .They have the seating arrangements organized in blocks with sidewalks making it easy to walk in and out without being too cramped ..whoever says the staff is not courteous probably expected too much..we even did a bit of tailgaiting in the parking lot with no issues...we stayed at the Fairfield Inn Marriott in Horsehead and it was an excellent place to travel to and from the venue with an easy 15 minute drive ...and the band was awesome,delivering exactly what they sell ...great rock music...

One of the best reserved seating concert experiences I've ever had there. Always had done the lawn seats. We ended up in fifth row. No one stood in front of us - when they did or tried to stand on the chairs - security was right there taking care of it. I was handicapped and I did not have to stand the whole time and saw everything. When we first arrived and parked into the field our vehicle's engine was smoking badly. Luckily rather than wait until midnight to take care of the situation we had another parked vehicle not far from the venue so security was kind and allowed us back out to exchange the vehicles so we would not overheat waiting to get out later when traffic would be unbearable. Security also were kind enough to park us near the gate and allowed us entry in front of the line so that I did not have far to walk due to my handicap. As far as I'm concerned they went above and beyond. The only negative I might add is when security was trying to help us - the owner was a bit rude to his security and had no cares for why they were trying to help us. He wanted to pull them away. Then he was yelling at them when the security was letting us in the front of the line. He could clearly see I had a handicap device with me. He never asked if he could help or do anything in either case. If it wasn't for Kevin the Head of Security and his people we would have been stranded that evening to the wee hours of the morning and would have had to walk miles to our seats through all the people which would have been extremely difficult for a handicapped person. Everything worked out very nicely. Owner could use a bit of a personality when dealing with people including his own staff! I would recommend a separate entry for handicap also. Overall, my friends and I had a great time.

Very unprofessional establishment! Staff was very rude and verbally abusive! Upper management and director of operations could not take care of customers because they were "too busy". Owner also said he did not have time to even address the patrons. When staff was approached with situation they got PHYSICAL! (which is and understatement to what took place)!!! Will never return and will never recommend to any person!

Yup, in Big Flats, NY. (Look it up.) The Beach Boys, ZZ Top, Willie Nelson, Ted Nugent, George Thorogood, ZZ Top, Skynrd, BB King, STYX.......the list is almost endliss.Outdoor concerts....bring your own chair or pay a little extra for a plastic seat. Beer and bar food is available......lots of beer. Security is excellant and there's never a problem. And the "people-watching" before the show and during intermissions is almost worth the price of admission, which isn't cheap. At least, not for Big Flats!

Tags brings lots of big acts right here to the Finger Lakes: Blake Shelton, Daughtry, Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Matchbox 20 and so many more! Prices vary based on the artist but Tags offers so many different seating options that there's bound to be a seat for everyone's budget! Even the lawn seating offers a good view. Make sure to bring your own seat or you can "rent" lawn chairs there. They have a limited beer and mixed drink tent and food tent that's a little on the pricier side but it is a concert setting. Overall most concerts are pretty great. And don't miss Tagsylvania in October, all your Halloween fun in one place!

The restaurant is worth visiting just to see the signed musical instruments from acts that have performed there. They have some really good talent perform there.
