I have been past this building many times, finally stopped, wow. Amazing amount of donated antiques full of local history. The volunteers have been ther a long time and really know their stuff. Two floors of rich history

Here you will learn of the boating, fishing, hunting, tourism and business history of the town of Alexandria Bay. The collection is housed in an 1866 stone structure with a magnificent view of Boldt Castle. Gallery talks featuring local authors and speakers are very informative. They also run some fun themed fundraisers. The gift shop stocks a good selection of books and unique gifts.

Nice local museum run by volunteers. On most Thursday nights they have local people talking about the history of the area. Cute gift shop. Located next to the dive beach, where you can watch divers in the river.

It's a small building near the public park with several antique boats and lots of history packed into a small space. Free and it took approx. 1h. Owner was friendly and answered lots of questions. Hard to absorb all the information!

This museum is a collection of local yore that is most interesting and complete. It had much meaning to us personally but a casual tourist may not find it so. The history of the Hutchinson Boat Works is particularly relevant if your plans are to go to the Antique Boat Museum in Clayton.

I am not a big boat enthusiast, but if I was, this place would be great! There are several interesting original features to the building that were neat, and we found relatives in the pictures they had up.
